Had the a very bad expierence in Lafayette hotel. Arrived to a súper dirty lobby. Once they gave me my key to the room I opened the room to find people sleeping in the bedroom! Terrible! They gave me the wrong bedroom and key which makes it super insecure. Lobby manager did not seem to care. Shower was dirty. The... More

It is a good hotel to stay in if you need to get your visa renewal. It's a good place in Chapultepec Avenue and close to great restaurants and bars. It's on a great location to go for a walk and do some sightseeing.

These people tried to charge us twice for dinning services we never had. They even locked us out of our room once until it was paid. We asked to see a receipt and only then when the signature on the reciept didn't match ours did they let us back in the room. They did the same thing again on check... More

I stayed at this hotel for six days in February. Its a very tidy hotel, all spic and span. The reception staff is helpful but for English speaking tourists communicating with them is difficult because most dont speak English. The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. The coffee percolator in the room is delightful. The breakfast they serve... More

If you're visiting Guadalajara and you are doing bussiness at the Expo Guadalajara, this hotel is great because is cheap, clean and is just a half block from the Chapulepec avenue where good pubs and bars are.

This hotel bills itself as a 4-Star hotel. By Mexican standards, perhaps, but by Canadian/American standards, Motel 6 is seriously better than this. There's free wifi but it's irritatingly slow and the connection even drops even though I've got the full 3 bars on my iPhone. It's January and even though the lows are around 10 celsius, it gets really... More

Non-existent wifi internet service. Noisy......TV channels bad. No US major channels and only about 2 English speaking channels. Front desk clerks pretty clueless. Key card system terrible. Have had to replace 2 or 3 times in a visit. Holes in lamp shades. Great location and looked like at one time a nice hotel. Have let the place deteriorate.

Nice location within walking distance to US Consulate and many eateries. Safe, clean, efficient staff and transportation always out front or back. Nice Resturant too! Very pleasant stay and in a safe, quiet and with in a 100 peso taxi ride(10 mins) to el centro/ fairly priced and contrary to some past reviews, the bathroom was modern and clean. And... More

Where to start with the negatives of a hotel that bills itself as 4-star? Seriously? Ok, walls so thin it was like the neighbors were in my bed. They partied for a long time do if they had been in my bed I could have kicked them out. I could hear every single word. Non-existent Internet even though they said... More

I just got back from a trip to Guadalajara, had placed to stay with family but because I was traveling with 2 kids and one was not doing well with the heat (we are from the pacific NW) we moved to a hotel. Unfortunately there was a big convention and not many hotels had availability. These were some of the... More
