This hotel is really close to all of the downtown area and some great local restaurant. There are lots of attractions and tours to take in. It was extremely safe. As we tended to eat dinner quite late, we always seemed to be walking well after dark. We never felt unsafe. The hotel is practice COVID protocols, which made us feel even safer. The rooms are modern and well-appointed with modern furnishing and bedding. It was clean and sparkling. The hotel food was not that good, in my opinion. That's the reason for the 4 instead of a 5.

Hotel is within walking distance of the Cathedral and main square. Good location if it’s your first time in Guadalajara and you want to spend time sightseeing
Bed was firm and pillows comfortable.
Shower had good pressure and never had an issue with hot water.
We had a room in the 2nd floor

Remodeled and beautiful but some of the reception staff was NOT nice. they showed very little interest in helping my wife and myself with the simplest of services. Some were even a little rude .We lost cell phone services and we literally had to plead to make a call to Los Angeles. Air conditioning controls Are not in the room and they they get mad if you follow Their rules for them to shut it off or on. They have to bring the control from the front desk.
Business center is not well equipped and not very accessible. On a good note the
waitress at their in house resturant and the girls on the cleaning staff were great.
The room itself was nice we were there for almost a week.

Room Tip: All the rooms are nice. But the ones at the top of the building probably have a better view.

Our AC stopped working in the middle of the night, room phone did not work and it took 2 walks down to the lobby at 1 AM to convince the employees that my AC was not working. Me and my family (3 small children) had to move to a different room in the middle of the night. Nobody ever apologized for the inconvenience. The new room had a faulty shower head that sprayed water out the side of the pipe. The area in general is unpleasant. Don’t stay here! I recommend Tlaquepaque instead.

First the good:
Clean, Quiet and nice staff.
The bad:
Bed was hard as a rock.
No wash clothes or hand towels.
Shower has no pressure.
Soap the size of a quarter.
Split unit air conditioner with a control that really does not control the unit.
The TV is all local channels, no English stations.
Restaurant service was non existent.
We walked out.
This Hotel is for locals, not business travelers.

For a hotel named after Dali, This hotel is safe and pedestrian. Location good. Rooms clean and comfortable enough but we arrived during a cold spell and there was no heat. Ac yes. No drawers to put your clothes away so i kept everything in the suitcase. Some chest of drawers would be helpful. For the price its fine. An ok if not brilliant choice

Nothing but positive things to say about The Dali Plaza Hotel.
The staff are all professional, helpful, friendly and with excellent customer service skills.

The Front desk and Lobby are open around the clock and kept spotless.

My room on the 8th floor was spacious, fully renovated with comfortable king size bed, WiFi, hot water, flatscreen cable TV, complete toiletries kit, safe, AC and quite noise free.
It’s conveniently located a 3 minute walk from the historical center, to shops, restaurants, bars. At no time did it feel unsafe.

The price was quite reasonable and service top notch.
The Dali plaza hotel could teach a thing or two to higher end establishments in the area.

Good location. Close to restaurants and city center. Lots of good food choices around. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Any requests were immediately accommodated. Safe area to walk do to many restaurants. The rooms were very comfortable. The bathroom was big. Shower in need of repair. Good cleaning. WI-FI in the room worked well. Not expensive breakfast, fresh juice, coffee, tea, 3 types of homemade yogurt, cereal, toast, butter, jam, honey, fruit and hot Mexican food. Good, secure parking. Very good value for money.
Large diversity of travellers from around the world. Felt safe. The beautiful city Guadalajara.

- We paid about $35 Australian dollars per double room per night. If you book the hotel through a famous hotel booking website, you might get a 10% discount. Save you some money for yummy tacos!

- No hairdryer available

- Iron available (200 peso deposit, refund on return). The iron we rented from them pretty much leaked water.

- Bedroom and bathroom looked clean but not sure how clean they actually were. We found stain on bedsheets, pillow casing and bath towels. No floor mat provided, it could be really dangerous if you slip and fall in the bathroom.

- Receptionists speak English but they pretend they cannot. IMHO, they are friendly but a little lazy.

- The aircon in the room is a little cold and makes a sound all night

- Bedroom is huge for the price we paid and you can request for extra pillows too.

- Breakfast buffet is 69 peso, we did not have our breakfast in the hotel so cannot comment. We walked past their breakfast cafe and the food looked pathetic. I will suggest a better place nearby for breakfast - Cafe Madoka. Its like a Mexican restaurant equivalent to an American breakfast diner.

- Free wifi included in this hotel and signal is quote strong.

- 220 peso taxi fare from hotel to airport.

- Location is close to centro and dont forget to popby the ice cream shop at the corner of opposite the hotel. Try their yummy coconut ice cream, trust me you have to try it and it is cheap too! Oh not to mention its diary-free.

- Also we had the best amazing fish taco at Taco Fish La Paz on Avenida La Paz/Calle Donno Gurrera.

- Bus to Tlaqupaque is on Ave 16 de Septembre / Madero. Catch a bus R275 from there.

Very adequate. You are right in the middle of El Centro. Tons of shops and restaurants right outside. Close to the Basilica and many other tourist sites. Very comfortable beds. Wifi throughout the hotel at a good speed. About $38 for a single bed if you reserve in person and $34 by booking online. Shower water was plenty hot enough. Very secure as well. There are safes in the rooms also but it's not necessary. Definitely a good place for the value. However, I will be checking in at Hotel Empeador tomorrow, as it is only $24. It's only a few blocks away. I'll write my review for that soon.
