The staying at the the San Francisco Hotel made my visit to Guadalajara very unconfortable. WiFi was not working most of the time, the attitude of the front desk people the worst and I did tried different approaches. Terrible rooms my army barracks are better than the rooms san fransico has. It's a low class hotel and prostitutes available at...

A really bad decision I reserved 2 rooms and they only registered one, I have to talk with a credit card operator in order to clarify this and they discount me 2 rooms. The biggest mistake in choosing this hotel was to believe in the reviews; how these people dare to write a good review of this horrible hotel? Overall, the rooms are depressing and staff is rude. The rooms and bathrooms are dingy, very uncomfortable beds. If you take a shower after 8 AM you will be fighting cool and hot water....

We stayed in the Hotel San Francisco Plaza. One must first understand it is a Mexican hotel, which is very different than a US hotel. If you want an “American” hotel then go stay in one of the chain hotels one would find in the states. But you will miss a great deal that way. That being said, the hotel...

Lovely old hotel, clean and comfortable and conveniently located. The room was air-conditioned on the 2nd floor and quite large. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel restaurant was good and reasonably priced. The bathroom could use an update, but otherwise a good value and a nice place to stay

The front desk was very helpful with places to eat and general directions..including where NOT to go for safety reasons...always a plus in a city where you do not speak the language. Our room was...

A few blocks away from Centro is the Hotel San Francisco Plaza. Large clean rooms overlooking a courtyard. Breakfasts are either buffet or a la carte. Lunch and Dinner is available in the hotel restaurant. Wifi is strongest in the reception area.

Wow, we tripped over another beauty. Guadalajara is chock-a-block full of these neat old stone monuments to another time. The lobby/front desk is two floors high, the atrium restaurant is perhaps 4 floors. The rooms are large with the requisite high ceilings. The view from the rooms is no great shakes, at least from our room. The hallways are convoluted,...

Overall: Low price Historic hotel worth staying at if you don't mind putting up with hard beds and worn out facilities. Great for single business/leisure travelers. The Good: great location, historic building, beautiful grounds, spacious rooms with balconies, PRICE!!! The Bad: beds are a little hard, shower and bathroom area needs a little updating, WIFI signal weak inside room (common...

Hi! SO I have stayed here probably 5 times and it never disappoints. I have to laugh when I read negative reviews. It is $30 a night for goodness sake, you are not staying at the Ritz. That being said, there is a nice little restaurant and it is 4 blocks from the best museums, the market and the Jewelry...
