OK- It was just awful! However, I have to admit that we pulled into town at 10 PM without a reservation and everyplace will full because it was one of Mexico's 47 annually celebrated holidays and the Bucanero gave us a room- Room 7. We were told that they usually don't rent it, but they would rent it to us...

This hotel was average for the amount that we paid for it. We paid 400 pesos for 2 nights. the room was average size, the bed was pretty uncomfortable and the bathroom was a bit grubby. the staff there were very friendly and there was the added bonus of a pool in the garden

Let me start off by saying that we are Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (15 years ago) and were traveling with our two young daughters (7 and 8) We (and they) are pretty game for "roughing it".
