We recently stayed for a long weekend and I honestly don't know that I've ever been so pleased with a hotel. I'd visited their dining room in the past and found it excellent, but this was the first time staying in the hotel. It is truly an old world experience, no cash registers, no checks to sign for every meal... More

This restaurant was on my bucket list because I had heard so much about it. We celebrated friends' 50th anniversary. The place is lovely but there are restaurants in PV with better.views. The Mariachi band was very good. Three of us ordered the snapper. One person did not want to complain and said nothing although his fish was not good.... More

This is one of the finest boutique properties we have ever stayed at in the world. The owner/manager that established it acquired over time homes and their gardens on the hill behind the cathedral. She obviously had deep pockets with which to work, but that's not infrequent. What is unusual here is her extraordinary level of taste and the superb... More

Sometimes you just have to splurge and boy are we glad we did. We've never stayed in such a quaint, romantic, charming, and beautiful setting. With the luxury pricing we were originally hesitant to stay here but are thankful we did. We'll remember our HSA experience for the rest of our lives and wouldn't think of visiting PV again without... More

If you are into an experience you have to try the Hacienda San Angel. A beautiful restored hacienda restored into a smalll luxury inn and restaurant. Amazing views, open terrace and the best part is the Mariachi band, horns and violins. They are amazing. Oh, and the food and service will make you happy too.

As of January 1, 2014, all restaurant must include the 16% IVA in the prices on their menu. In addition, HSA adds 20% to the bill as a tip for your convenience. This means that a standard margarita is now 148 pesos including tax and tips. The place remains as magical as ever, the food is good and hot, and... More

This place has a MAGICAL feel about it, when you walk in your eyes will see lights on the stairs, antiques, paintings, fountains and then you will be escorted to the balcony, where you will dine and if you go about sunset, you will see a marvelous view and colors reflecting from the sky into the water. There is no... More

We had dinner overlooking Puerta Vallerta in this wonderful, historic Mexican home. At one time it was a religious convent than bought by local legend... Richard Burton's first wife The waiters will tell you good stories about who really lived in this house but it is all part of the eventing entertainment. Once you have arrived a. Would recommend this scenic restaurant to anyone who enjoys great service, interesting dishes and amazing mariachi music. We were taken by surprise from the moment we walked through the door of this historic hacienda. Everything about this experience including the reasonable check was memorable. Recommend it highly.

This is a stunning hotel, when you walk through the front door you step back in time to a wonderful venue full of antiques. On to a courtyard and then up the stairs to a rooftop restaurant with incredible views. We were a party of 15 for my neices birthday, super food, good wine and a great night. We will... More
