I just got back from PV after staying there for a little over a week (Dec 29-Jan 6) and couldn't have been more thrilled with my time at Villa David. I was staying solo there even though I was traveling with 6 other friends that were staying elsewhere. I wanted to pick a place that was Gay, centrally located and...

If you are looking for a wonderful gay environment to stay at in PV and still really feel like you're in Mexico, stay here. It's men only and clothing optional (which is next to impossible to find) which makes the pool and hot tub all that more enjoyable during the day or at night after a long day in the...

Discovered Villa David via google search. We where quite relieved to find the previous reviews of the property where real! The property is truly a mansion with ample space to move about to enjoy the sun and the pool. The staff are quite warm and go out of their way to provide a comfy environment. Nice touches like an honor...

I was so delighted with Villa David that I persuaded a friend to drop everything and come join me. It's really like having a friend who has a mansion, as one breakfasts en famille with ownerand staff. I loved that it was in a real neighborhood rather than the tourist-infested other parts of town.

So many things to say about Villa David. The villa is impeccably clean and well laid out. Decorated with thought and care. The staff is friendly and nice. Breakfast is awesome! We stayed in Room 1 and loved it. The view is fantastic, William and Adrian did a great job cleaning and arranging our room daily. I think the best...

This is one of the best places to stay for many reasons: Security: full security (doors and windows) with cameras focused on the outside perimeter areas. Comfort: it’s like living in one’s home – this is a large, Mexican style mansion with access to most areas. They have a massage therapist on the premises and he's professional and good. Cleanliness:...

This is the place for a true gay vacation destination (not just gay-friendly). The quality of this Mexican Mansion is top-notch and nothing else really compares to it. I have stayed at other places and they do not have high standards or are no longer in business. What I enjoy here is the atmosphere of actually living in a traditional...

This was my first trip to Puerto Vallarta. I selected Villa David based on the reviews here on TripAdvisor and also on the recommendation of a friend who used to live in PV. I could not have been happier! The owner, Bill, provided me with very detailed instructions about how to get a taxi at the airport. He also warned...

I came here with a couple of friends on a recommendation from one who stayed there last year. It was perfect for the type of vacation we wanted - a comfortable place to stay in the old part of the city, a little oasis to relax without the busyness of a big resort, and a comfortable environment. The B&B is...
