Okay so I just returned from staying at the Embarcadero and it was horrible. I have stayed in Costa Rica, Dominican and Cuba in all three and three and a half star hotels. I am not a picky person, I often stay in hostels. I...More
Within 5 minutes of our arrival my wife and I realized this "hotel" was a dump.

They have a variety of drink, there was even Captain Morgan Spiced so there is a little variety. Each resort has there own times for breakfast, dinner and supper which they provide a pamphlet with the times and speciality restaurants which are usually three per each resort do require reservations ahead of time, I however, have tried speciality restaurants when I travel. The Vamar Vallarta has a restaurant by the water way canel where boats go up through and even some fish in the water, there's a fast food restaurant on the other side of the resort which also includes a small bar and pool area.
