This wasn't our first stay at this location. We come back because we like the location on the beach, the ocean front view, the pool and where it is located in Mazatlan. We enjoy being able to walk to local restaurants and shopping, catch the bus or a pulmonia for further adventures. The staff are friendly, and the pool bar...

The rooms were clean and the staff goes out of there way to welcome you. The pool was clean and warm. The sand was kept up on the ocean which was wonderful to walk on. Everything we ordered at the resturant was great. We also liked the food across the street at gusgus. Wifi for the room is really reasonable...wish...

For the second year in a row, we stayed in a suite in the beach front tower. Everything was wonderful. Yes, the property is a little dated, but it's clean, comfortable, and in the best location in town! Our suite had two full beds in the bedroom, stove, refrigerator, and microwave in the kitchen, and a trundle bed style sofa...

This is a clean resort, comfortable, and no pressure to go to a time share presentation! The restaraunt was good; not the fanciest but good food. The place was clean and service was good. Pool towels are small and they ran out of towels one day and they need to correct that. We really enjoyed our stay overall and would...

I love this place. Great staff, great food, great drinks. Went there twice with my brother and had the time of our lives. Pool or ocean if you like to swim, Pool bar for relaxing, breakfast, lunch dinner are good there.

The Costa de Oro hotel is in a nice location for accessing the gold zone, where there are many shops and restaurants catering to tourists. But the hotel itself, at least the low-rise part we were in, is in deep of updates. The bath towels were thin and abrasive. The finish/varnish was flaking off of the doors. The receptionist told...

We returned to the Costa De Oro after a 7 year absence. It was our 3rd stay and we always book a suite in the tower. We were on the 9th floor and had awesome views of the ocean. On our first visit in 2005/2006, we met some great people working the pool. Genado, Pancho, Santos, Lewey and Ramone, who...

Our room was in the older section of the hotel. Everything worked and bed was OK. The décor was very dated with older bedspreads and over splashed paint on trim work. Nice large shower, nice size room, and good AC (much needed). The property best features are the beachfront heated pool, perfect location between the islands, and amazingly close to...

Great location if you want to be near shops and restaurants. Beach is great for walking. Great check in and staff. Rooms are dated...could use new dishes in kitchenettes, new tvs, new pillows. Sound proofing is nonexistent but typical of old hotels. Beautiful views from most rooms of ocean, but you will hear traffic noise or music from bar across...
