I cried leaving to come home too. The area is beautiful, safe, and not as commercial or developed as other touristy areas of Mexico. Also, Huatulco is very clean and they pride themselves on this. They also are a big travel destination for the eco-tourists out there as most of their power (if not all) is produced by wind turbines....

My wife and I enjoyed a week at Villas Coral celebrating our 25th anniversary. We loved every minute of it. Great pool. Nice rooms. Great service. Excellent view. Of course being there during the low season meant we had it mostly to ourselves, which was what we were looking for. Luiza, the owner/manager was a big help and all of...

Don't know why I haven't written prior to this, probably because we wanted to keep it to ourselves. We have stayed at Villas Coral in the Villas anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks at a time and enjoyed it to the fullest. This is an older hotel and could greatly benefit with some updating however, the cleanliness of the rooms,...

After spending the last 15 years vacationing in Huatulco we decided we needed a change. We started out staying at the Sheraton which was bought out by the Barcelo. The Barcelo was good to us and let us still rent a room only. We are not fond of the all-inclusive way to spend a vacation. At the beginning the hotel...

My husband and I prefer to stay in small non-chain hotels and this one did not disappoint and in fact exceeded our expectations. Rooms are large, comfortable and clean, with great views, air conditioning and BBC (fun to watch news ourtside of the US!). The hotel layout is great, the pool perfect and shaded. Lots of birds, very cool frog...

We stayed at the Villas Coral for one week, from December 26 to January 2, 2008. We are a party of four, two couples from Saskatoon, Saskathewan. We loved the hotel! It had a beautiful rocky cove right in front, I think all rooms had ocean views. It was all white and fairly Moorish in style - it reminded us...

We were pleasantly surprised to discover that the Hotel Villas Coral now offers morning yoga and meditation classes during the winter months. My husband and I recently attended a 7-day "Yoga Vacation" at the hotel and had a great time!. The yoga classes were a flowing , gentle style of yoga (Vinyasa)taught Monday thru Saturday mornings by an experienced, registered...

To start off we chose this hotel for guests from the US and Mexico for our wedding in Huatulco. My husband and I chose this hotel after looking at many in the area (both large resorts and small hotels). We liked this property for several reasons: Incomparable views from the rooms, from the very large and ample balconies, from the...

Don't feel too singled out San Francisco member! We booked a large block of rooms at this hotel that were abruptly canceled 2 weeks prior to our trip. Putting the best light on it, the management there decided that they weren't able to give adequate attention to our group. Better to know now rather than later. This may be a...
