This hotel has gotten some bad reviews. It is old but nice. We were on the 11floor and the room was very clean with a superb view of the water. The staff were all friendly and very helpful especially Norma the manager. It is located in a great spot to walk either way to shops. The pool area is nice... More

The hotel is old and unkept. It's filthy, rooms have mold, the linens are stained, things are broken, many things are in need of repair, and the service is slow and not helpful. It's pathetic and disgusting. To top it off they had no internet during our visit. NEVER STAY AT EL PRESIDENTE!!! We paid for 5 nights online and... More

We only stayed here for 7 hours, we only booked it for one night because we had that spare time in between our ticket back home and the check out time from our previous hotel reservation. The hotel is quite outdated, apparently we were staying at one of thr newly renovated rooms but well, the furniture did look ok, but... More

I spent a week there with my family. I stay there everytime I travel to Acapulco and I love it. It is always full of new surprises. This time the rooms where refurnished. It is a classic in Acapulco but with the advantages of a new hotel. The service has never been better. It also has the best beach spot... More

And that is the bellboys! We stayed there 27 years ago on our first trip to Acapulco, cheap price and saw why. We fell in love while there with Acapulco and have returned every year since. We bought a time share at Playa Suites and were very happy but time share management moved us to el presidente much to or... More

i have stayed at this hotel for many years. IT is an old ACAPULCO Treasure that has wonderful beach front rooms , with the wonderful old fashion charm. I was most pleased with my last 2 stays this winter and in June as the hotel has been undergoing extensive renovations to bring it back to it's old reputation. I was... More

This was definitely not the best hotel we have stayed at in Acapulco. I would suggest doing more research and picking a better hotel. The hotel felt very tired and old. Refresh needed. The staff were helpful and rooms were clean.

I read the reviews before I stayed at this hotel, but it was the only place available for the New Years holiday from RCI Resorts. The reviews here are spot on... The hotel is very old and very dated. It is poorly maintained. The history is that the owner died, left it to the kids, and one of the kids... More

This hotel is so old and dated it is literally falling apart - fixtures and fittings in our room were falling off the walls, and there was an electrical socket hanging by a wire right next to our shower. The beds were the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in, and the fridge didn't work. Even worse, there was no... More
