I spent three nights at this hotel during a social convention with 500 others. This is an older resort, but my oceanview room in the main pyramid tower was renovated and extremly nice. The room, bathroom and closet were all huge. Great toiletries and a new mini refrigerator were a nice touch. For several seconds every day, the power would...

I first truly understood the meaning of “Paradise on Earth” when I went to Acapulco, Mexico with my now fiancé. Of course that feeling of being in paradise might have been accentuated by the fact that I became engaged while there but I couldn’t have asked for a better location for the proposal to take place at. After spending almost...

We have just returned from our stay in the Fairmont Acapulco Princess. We had a great time! The hotel has alot of rooms but when we were there it didnt seem crowded, except at breakfast. The pools all had more then enough free chairs and space to swim. Our room was spacious enough, with a bathtub and shower. The a...

We stayed here as an all inclusive price so we were able to try all the meals. I thought the food was good the breakfast is sit down with a buffet so you couldnt go unlimited times to meals. Not sure why we had to wear the bracelet. Every time you went to a meal you had to give your...

Just got back in May spending 7 nights with my husband and three kids. I must say that the grounds are beautiful and the beach is really one of my favorites. I felt the rooms were nice but not spectacular and the food was good but not great. Would definitely go back again.

The Fairmont Acapulco Princess hotel is located 10 minutes from the acapulco airport but 30 minutes outside the acapulco downtown. The hotel itself gives a very impressive first impression with huge golf courses at its entry and huge lobby. The hotel has several swimming pools, one of the swimming pools has a bar built under a waterfall. in short the...

My fiancee and I stayed at the Fairmont Princess for a wedding in May 2006. Along with some of the other reviews, the Fairmont is a little dated, the rooms are very "1970s." That said, the hotel grounds were wonderful and well kept. Our room was large with a nice ocean view balcony. We had some friends staying at Las...

I stayed at this hotel for the first time during the 2006 Memorial Day weekend upon a recommendation of someone who is from Acapulco. I am so glad that I chose this location instead of downtown which is very crowded with hotels. The Fairmont is very private and somewhat secluded. From the moment we drove up and entered the stunning...

I just returned from a wonderful vacation in Acapulco and frankly never left the Princess Hotel even once. I had stayed there before and visited Acapulco many times so decided to avoid the tourist traps. The reception on arrival by Fabiola was quite friendly and efficienct. I had joined the President's Club and perhaps it gave me some added benefit....

We travel often and stayed many places. After reading reviews, we picked Acapulco Princess. It was great. We joined the presidents club, which gave daily newspaper, bottled water, health club access, ect. They treated us excellent. we were upgraded to ocean view in main building for free just for asking. This building was newly redone so it had a refrigerator,...
