I must say, I am a Ritz Carlton person, 99% of the time. First of all, it is a beautiful hotel and I thought all week how I would describe it, as I always go off of Tripadvisor reviews. So I came up with this scenario, 1950's hollywood, with Kolher fixtures and pottery barn design. We stayed in #465 with...

Las brisas is past its prime and living off a died reputation. It's nice to read some people enjoyed their stay, if in fact those write ups are credible. The initial check in took over 45 minutes. The staff in the reception area, however, was very nice. The biggest problem:: My casita was filled with bugs: spiders, ants, cockroaches. I...

This hotel is advertised as a "five star luxury resort". After researching Las Brisas on-line, my friend (who speaks fluent Spanish) and I booked our accommodations and were very excited for our vacation in Acapulco. The first morning of our stay on Sunday, July 9th, I stepped out on our balcony to view the bay. As I walked back into...

My wife and I visited this resort last summer and we were delighted with every aspect of the hotel. From the fresh breakfast every morning to the room side pools to the private beach, this is the place to be. We've been to Tahiti, Hawaii, the French Riveria, and both US coasts--but Las Brisas was our favorite!! The views were...

My husband and I stayed at Las Brisas on June 11 to June 16 and we absolutely loved it. We stayed in Beach Club Casita #467. It was totally private and we loved it. We were celebrating our 8th anniversary and we'll be returning to Las Brisas again. We ate at Su Casa, Linda Vista, Los Flamingos (our favorite and...

Las Brisas gets high marks and beyond!! We had prearranged with Veronica, concierge (she is wonderful and extremely helpful) for casita #328; we had a 1 bedroom junior suite with private pool (there are 250 swimming pools within the hotel) and jacuzzi. The casita was gorgeous!! There are only three of this type of casita in the hotel and we...

My wife and I returned from our honeymoon at las Brisas on May 15-20, 2006. We had a stay of 5 nights with the Romance Package ($1981.00) This was a good deal considering that paying for your meals and extras separetly would cost you double, and the package includes your own Jeep!!! (pink, of course) as this is the color...

My daughter and I visited Las Brisas, Acapulco early in May. We stayed in the two-bedroom casita La Encantada (#440, 439) -- it was clean, private, beautiful view of the bay with unmatched relaxation... Our 4-day stay was the best vacation I have had in 10 years~service was fabulous; fresh flower displays daily, fresh flowers floating in your private pool...

We went for a four day getaway and LOVED Las Brisas. We stayed in Casita 270. The service was awesome and the room was ver large and clean. We loved the beach club but get their early if you want a cabanna. The food at bellavista was not worth it AT ALL. We will be coming back again for sure.

full review of 3 night trip here: [--] recap: Casita #273 is fantastic, huge pool area with 2 tables (1 under a ledge, one under a cabana). Service was superb, just don't dare show up at Bellavista restaurant in shorts, or they'll give you an attitude and only grudgingly serve you in the (informal) cocktail lounge. But at the ~$210/night,...
