My friend and I came here last weekend. Checked out on Sunday and I got my full security deposit returned to me on Wednesday ($600). Arriving: Now that’s out of the way, I called them on my way down to mention I was running late. There wasn’t an answer but they did call me back even though I didn’t leave a message. About 5 hours later (still on my way), they called asking for my credit card because their office is closing and they need to process the security deposit. When I arrived (9pm), security was waiting for me with my hotel key. I highly recommend to Google map the entrance before you arrive so you have an idea of how to find the hotel. I did this beforehand but there’s currently road construction. When looking at the Chevron from the street, to your left is a mall plaza with a gate at the parking entrance. Thats where you’ll find security for the hotel who will guide you through. Just tell the taxis to drop you off at the Chevron when you initially get in the taxi from downtown. The locals don’t even know about this best kept secret! Overall: We paid for an upgraded room because I thought it came with a jacuzzi. It didn’t (there’s two community jacuzzis). Everything inside looked sparkling clean and new. Security was really friendly and did their jobs really well. Felt very safe and slept well at night with the windows open. The view was spectacular and right on the beach where it wasn’t crowded. Very quiet area. They have private groomed beach with free games you can play (cornhole, soccer, volleyball, football, etc). Leave the windows open to feel the ocean breeze. Don’t listen to the reviews here. Most likely competitors are trying to deter guests from staying here. Either that or huge families with crazy kids tear everything up end up being charged. Again, inside looked CLEAN with granite counter tops and new appliances. Dishes, utensils, etc are also in the drawers. Snacks, drinks, and toiletries have marked up prices (typical). The liquor store in the plaza and chevron are both a 2 minute walk. Downtown is a 15-20 min walk. Bringing a guest back will cost $35 - much cheaper than all exclusive resorts in other cities. You don’t like this, you can stay at a 1 star motel instead. Rosarito has plenty. This villa is a diamond in the rough. I’ll be coming back!!…

Be sure that you will be over charged no matter what they will find any excuse to charge your deposit and staff is horrible there. I ended paying 860 for one night 8 people i was told that someone was smoking and it was not even from my party it was from next door so they charged them 250 for smoking and me another 250 and i really don't know if it was true. So if you give your credit card canceled it right away so they don't charge you extra. There are better places to stay trust me do not waist your money there. I would never go back to that place.

I had a terrible stay at this hotel. Firstly, it was nearly impossible to find with little signage. Secondly, the room was filthy and far from clean. Still days after my stay I can see I still have a 400 dollar deposit amount pending from them. I travel a lot and have never experienced that. The customer service alike was poor - the management does not speak English and were RUDE. We were told each guest may only utilize the spa/pool for 60 minutes per person. At 1 1am on check-out time, the receptionist came looking to make sure we were not using the pool after 11, which we were told was not allowed. Also, they attempted to charge $36 for an additional person despite the fact I already had paid for a double room with occupancy for two.

Please listen to all the negative reviews. They are negative for a number of reasons. To begin with the positive receptionist was polite, not wearing a mask however. The entrance is gated and there is security. So it is secure. Now the bad. There is no signage to get to the hotel, you must enter through the Chevron and then take a left down the unpaved holey abandoned road. Seriously is your car is low or you are not paying attention you will mess up your car. The beachside of the hotel is disgusting looks abandoned and has holes on the walls. The room itself was tiny although we booked the premium villa. Room had old appliances, the sofa was dirty and moldy, the bathroom had mold, the furniture was dated and unattended. Seriously the only reason we stayed was because we did not feel like driving to the States that evening. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. You will REGRET!…

Our family spent money on 5 whole villas. With that being said. We will never be going back. Not only was the place not clean, but the staff was rude, they were NOT wearing masks, and the property was old and not well maintained. There were ants in all of the rooms, and some even had ants on the beds. The sheets were stiff and half of the light didn’t work. The towels in the restroom weren't clean and smelled like moisture. Appliances in the rooms were inconsistent. Some had microwaves and toasters while others had nothing. One coffee machine didn’t work. I attached photos of the cutting board they provided, dirty and dusty and even had spiderwebs on it. One of our rooms had a pan in the cabinet that had mold on it. Some restrooms didn’t even have toilet paper. There wasn’t any soap to wash dishes or to wash your hands. To top it all off, we had family staying in a villa for just one night and when check out happened at 11, they left to turn in the keys to the room and vacated but stayed in one of the other villa’s with the rest of our family so that they could finish eating. The staff purposefully came into the villa to find the ones who had checked out to tell them that they had to leave the premises, even though all of the other villas were empty. This kind of stuff doesn’t even happen in the most expensive resorts. We were told that we couldn’t even have visitors for a few hours. To top it all off, we rented rooms by the person. When one of our family members weren’t able to come, they told us very rudely the spot or the price for one person was not refundable.…

My review echoes the majority of what's already here, but to be fair I'll get the positives out of the way first. It is beautiful location by the beach and very quiet, you'll sleep well. Security is excellent. Conditions are very spacious and luxurius. So why the terrible review? The hidden extras and nasty surprises. Once you actually find the place, it must be made clear that the office hours are virtually non-existent, basically a short window in the afternoon. This is a MAJOR issue when it comes to trying to get your deposit back. If you pay cash which is highly not advised (I negotiated $200 down from $400) they'll take away hidden hotel fees ($15 a day for the WiFi) plus taxes. If you try to put the deposit on the credit card it's upwards of $600. You'll get charged first from Agoda and I blocked my credit card immediately once they wanted more money and my bank confirmed the $600 they tried to take. Even so I had to fight like hell to get most of my $200 back and ended up taking a loss for about $50 as wasting a whole day and ruining my plans. There are far better places to stay in Rosarito than here. Horrific service.…

Beware, YOUR DEPOSIT MAY NOT BE RETURNED they ask for a deposit in cash, you can not put it on your credit card. We have been trying to get our deposit back for 3 months. The place was left in immaculate condition, nothing was broken and they still won't return our deposit.

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM !!!!!!!! do not do any business with them! we accidentally booked a trip for the wrong dates. we immediately called to change the date and there was no availability. understandable.. but they refused to refund us. not only did they refuse to refund our money but they ran us around in circles for days. no one knew anything and no one could contact someone who could help us with the situation. they dealt with a third party who did not have a phone number and only ever communicated on email. lies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Recently stayed at the villas and had a very nice experience. My room matched the pictures. Staff was friendly. They are strict on how many people stay in the room. So make sure everyone in your party is acounted for. There are a lot of reviews on here saying they keep your deposit. I treated the place with respect and got my deposit back. It’s close to everything in Rosarito. Will def go back again!

worse hotel stay ! -charge for having friends over. Not to spend the night, ANY PERSON THAT IS NOT ON GUESTLIST WILL NOT ENTER , in order to be on guestlist it’s a $42 per person per day. -charge for WiFi but they don’t tell you that upfront , they just give you the code. The fee is on the fine print. - charge $200 for mysterious stains on pillow and covers THAT WAS ALREADY THERE! I wasn’t able to report it because there was no one there to report it to. -can someone please name that stain? It looks like a tire ran it over . WHY THE HELL WOULD I DO THAT?!
