Loved this hotel and its authentic Mexican decor. It is not fancy or modern. Very much a small, somewhat rustic place but full of charm and very clean. We stayed for one night in room 12 ($133), oceanview on the second floor. Our room was extremely spacious, had a king size bed, newly remodeled bathroom and a small balcony overlooking...

Keep room expectations moderated and come here for the restaurant, the beach and an inexpensive place to recharge. Three story "motel" on the sand with miles of walk- able beachfront. In the tourist zone, safe to walk day and night and only 30-minutes south of the border. The food is really the attraction although they have been upgrading the rooms...

We liked Los Pelicanos so much we went there three times in one weekend. Good food, good drinks, a fabulous view and parking. Highly recommended. They do a really good breakfast but any time is a good time.

Even though I didn't stay there on my last trip to Rosarito, I ate at the restaurant twice. Their food is good. Their margaritas are only average (a little too sweet for me). Their pool looks very nice. This hotel is right on the beach so it's a great location.

I have been to Los Pelicanos twice. Excellent value and staff. I am going again soon. If you are high maintenance and want to be spoiled , go somewhere else. If you want to enjoy Mexico and it's people, this is a good place.

The last time I stayed in Rosarito was around 10 years ago and was at Los Pelicanos. It hasn't changed much, other than the pool and spa. This is a well cared for hotel and the adjoining restaurant is great. The staff is friendly and professional. Not expensive, I recommend Los Pelicanos to anyone staying in Rosarito.

We were in Rosarito in the "off" season, and were looking for a comfortable respite while here. Rate was $102 a night. Not too expensive, average. Boy, what a let down. Winter time....no heaters in rooms. More drafts than blankets could handle. No water to the sink. One day, hot water to showers, later, no water. Next day, water to...

First of all...it's Mexico. That being said, I love this place. Rooms are spacious but rustic, beds are adequate, linens clean. Bathroom is clean and has everything you need. The grounds are fenced, with a gate directly onto the beach. There is a beautiful pool and patio area with wonderful plants and a fountain. Every trip I make to Rosarito...

This was my second stay at the Los Pelicanos Hotel, and both times, I loved it! On the first occasion, it was just my husband and myself, and we had a room on the second floor, facing the ocean. This was REALLY nice because we could keep our windows open and listen to the sound of the ocean all night....
