We happened upon this place by chance, after looking for a room in the other hotels of Loreto, which turned out to be quite busy. La Damiana Inn is a beautiful and colourful place (2 minutes from the central plaza), full of wonderful furniture, curiosities, coloured rugs and paintings. There is a communal area with sofas, chairs, books, games.... and...

Stayed on the way down to Los Cabos and on the way back - one night each way. We would not have stayed coming north but had to cancel so far in advance that we missed the date. Anyway, 1st room was small but quiet. 2nd room was dark and noisy. There is an open courtyard and kitchen area complete...

Just spent a month at La Damiana Inn and it really felt like home. Deborah and Gerado are amazing hosts and are ready to help with planning anything you want. We miss Murphy the cat already. We had been wanting to visit Loreto for some time and finally made it this year. We found Damiana on TA and really enjoyed our stay. Small, comfortable inn..right in the heart of everything. Owners, Deb and Gerard? Very friendly as well as the small staff. Highly recommended.

So enjoyed four nights at La Damiana Inn, where Debra's created a comfortable retreat with all the amenities necessary for a relaxing and authentic experience of Loreto. Spotless, quiet, great sheets and pillows and coffee in the AM. Best of all, Debra is so ready to connect guests with people and places that create memories and unforgettable experiences. Thank you1

Debora & Gerardo take great care with their small (7 rooms) hotel. It is ideally located within walking distance of everything in Loreto. The outdoor kitchen is a wonderful gathering place for a cup of morning coffee or reheating leftovers for breakfast on the gigantic 1953 stove. Gerardo is a real force of Nature with boundless energy & enthusiasm for...

Our first trip to Loreto over ten years ago found us without a place to stay. The town was full, but thanks to another inn keeper, who suggested Debora might put us up even before she was open, was a great break for us. She did, and we LOVED her place even back then. So we never forgot that super...
