Just finished 7 days at Iguana Inn in Loreto before and after a 7 day kayak trip. This is the perfect local place to stay for a few days in Loreto. Very central. 4 private rooms with kitchenette , private baths. Excellent shaded outdoor common areas to relax and read. Julie, the proprietor was chill and a wonderful host. Knows...

Iguana Inn is a wonderful, cozy place to stay right in Loreto. It's close to the Malecon and downtown, but away from the noise. Clean rooms and a nice outdoor seating area. We've been staying there on trips to Baja for ten years now, and every visit is great - there's a reason so many people return to the Iguana!...

Clean, simple rooms with two absolutely wonderful outdoor palapas. One a patio out front and the courtyard in the back that creates cooling shade and is conducive to meeting and chatting with other travellers. We stayed in room #1 which has the water fountain close by and lulls you to sleep at night. Room #4 is the most private of...

Don't miss an opportunity to stay at The Iguana Inn if you are going to Loreto, BCS. It's a small casual inn, with inviting courtyard, clean and basic rooms and a wonderful inn keeper. We loved the location (walk to everything around town....including the waterfront) and found it a great place to relax in the afternoon or evening. If you...

We stayed at the Iguana Inn in Loreto recently with a couple of other friends. It is a small place with maybe five units, more like casitas. It's very close to the main plaza and to the waterfront. The place was clean, comfortable, quaint, and cute. The proprietor, Julie, is super knowledgeable, so talk to her about places to eat,...

Iguana Inn is the kind of place that makes traveling fun. We like to experience the local economy as much as possible, and Iguana Inn is located near the central square and malecon, but in a Mexican neighborhood with two good local grocery stores nearby. We had been traveling in Mexico for over a week and were getting burned out...

My husband and I had the good fortune to stay at the Iguana Inn Hotel in Loreto in January. It is a small homey place with only four suites. We had one of the two suites with a small kitchenette. It was perfect for us and our little dog. The room was spacious and sunny, the kitchenette was well stocked...

The Iguana is well known to many savvy travelers for good reason. Incredibly well-priced, centrally located, super clean rooms with fridges and coffee makers, purified drinking water, a nice courtyard in which international travelers gather and chat, and Julie...the proprietor who treats guests right. The beds are typical for Mexico - shall we just say 'firm' and set on a...

Four of us stayed at the Iguana Inn February 2016 and we all enjoyed the quaint accommodations. You cannot beat the Inn on location, comfort, price and hospitality. Julie the owner is very accommodating and will hook you up with great guides to go whale watching. There are four rooms, number 4 being the most private. All the rooms are...

The Iguana Inn is exactly the kind of place we seek when we travel in Mexico. Quiet but within a block of the town square and two blocks of the Malecon, it provided us the perfect opportunity to hang out and feel like locals for four days. The garden with the water fountain was the ideal place to relax and...
