Stayed at Coco Cabanas for three nights in February, 2012. This place is a little jewel just one block off the beach and malacon. Even though we didn’t need it, we took the wheelchair accessible unit as it was available and huge – it was clean and has a full kitchen, sitting room, bedroom with kingsize bed and a large...

We are enjoying Loreto again, and thanks to host Steven making the right choices around town. Our suite and service could not be better, and the location off the road and a few blocks away from the Malecon is ideal. For those who are first time visitors to Baja, there are roosters here, as well as dune buggies and some...

Two pools surrounded by palm trees is your first impression. As you check out the Cobanas or the newer casitas you will notice unique decor and little things that make each unit a home. We loved this place, Stephen and his wife are on top of my list of friendliest hosts I have had the privilege to meet. I hope...

If you are looking for a luxurious five-star resort, Coco Cabanas is not for you. BUT if you are looking for an affordable, clean, convenient spot to park while you explore Loreto, this is a sure bet! We stayed in the "old" cabanas....the smaller units that ring the lower pool. We also toured the brand new, two story units, which...

This is located not on the Malecon which is preferable as it is walking distance and very quiet. You can even rent a whole villa in lieu of a lock off to have a full kitchen and 2 bedrooms for a family. We stayed here one night before heading to Villa Palmar and wish we had another night here. Steven...

No better place to spend a week or two by the pool in Loreto. The new casitas exceedced our expectations. We stayed with another couple in a two-bedroom), two-story casita. Rooms on ground floor were extremely clean (as of February 2011); both had full baths. Upstairs we shared a kitchen/dining living room with bathroom and spacious deck, tv, vcr, the...

Great flavor of Mexico. Location is ideal, within walking distance to shops/restaurants. Walk through friendly native neighborhoods. Can't go wrong with either the cabanas which, though not fancy, are cozy, inviting and very reasonably priced, or the new casitas which are more spacious. Owner/manager, Stephen, makes guests feel like family and is always ready to advise on local restaurants and...

We had a super fun treat in Loreto these past few days. We had heard about Coco Cabanas through the grapevine and thought we would give it a whirl. It truly exceeded our greatest expectations! While it's located right in the center of the mexican neighborhood, our room was so quiet at night it was almost eerie..almost!..We had some of...

We stayed for 4 nights in a wonderful casitas at the end of October. The one bedroom apartment had full kitchen, plasma screen, nice furnishings, multiple fans and two air conditioners, quiet, next to one of two pools. We agree with the other reviews and rate this excellent. We stayed previously in a palapa roofed bed and breakfast that was...

Spent two more visits to Loreto at this Hotel. What a great place. Chilled pool and nice clean, functional roms. Definately not your big-box type hotel. We met some other great travelers on our last stay, They were just as happy as we were. Thanks Stephen and family for another good visit.
