This little gem of a hotel located in the heart of Loreto is so charming it felt like I lived there. The rooms are clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. The staff are welcoming and super helpful about what to do and see in the area. The attached restaraunt serves delicious freshly prepared food, has excellent service, and awesome parties. The...

We had a car and a room in the back. It was convenient to park back there and have some privacy by hanging out in the back. The room had it all, artistic touches, porch, small frig, coffee maker, TV, Wi-fi, comfy bed, and A/C. Loved the location. So easy to walk around and enjoy Loreto. Close to marina so...

A wonderful quaint small hotel right on the town square. Big clean tastefully decorated room. Attached restaurant had excellent food, good service. Hotel has a craft brewery. The IPA and Stout very good. Quiet location. US TV stations (CNN, FOX etc...) if you want to catch up on the political BS. Can't wait to return.

This hotel was exactly what we were looking for during our 1 night stay in Loreto. It was reasonably priced, clean, comfortable, and in a great location. We didn't need a swimming pool or other resort-style amenities. The staff was nice and helpful, and the beer brewed at their restaurant was good as well. One could even stay longer, as...

Great location.Room is fine, bed comfy, kept very clean. The mini fridge was not working and was not replaced during our stay. Very good value for your money. Tons of restaurants around town..just go from one to the other. For breakfast, we liked Orlando's and the bakery. The beer at the restaurant next door is excellent..there was one night when...

I needed a place to stay in Loreto, which I have found to be a busy place. Particularly after cruising down the beautiful and lonely peninsula highway. We usually eat, grab gas and keep going. I won't do the again. My wife got on the computer and found the coolest little place called Hotel Loreto 1697. I checked out a...

We arrived in Loreto for the first time and were greeted kindly by the staff at 1697. Once we arrived to our room, the owner; Norma came to welcome us and give us a map and her recommendations of where to eat and activities to do in the town. We felt very taken care of. The room is nice, very...

Loved it. Very clean and stylish. Friendly staff, reasonable rates. I'd stay there again. Numerous eatery options for guests available right in the courtyard. 2 blocks from a nice Oceanside walkway. Had a secure area to park our car.

We stay at 1697 when ever in Loreto. Located in town center, warm and friendly staff and owners. Kieran creates the best craft brew in Baja! Clean cozy and wonderful food. Located just a few minutes to the malecon.
