We moved here after leaving a different and disappointing location in La Paz. This place was great! We got a family-style room, which was larger and more expensive than other rooms, but Room 303 had access to two decks. One off the front of our room like all the other suites, and then a second one right at the front...

This is a great place to stay. The location is good, the room was clean, the grounds are kept nicely. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There are many good restaurants along the boardwalk but be prepared to walk. We personally enjoyed the walking, especially after a full meal!

Great location and service. The hot tub is really good, pool could be warmer but I guess on warmer days it is great to have a cool pool. Wi Fi only by the pool, got a good room but it was real far from the hot spot.

El Moro Hotel is like coming home....the same people at the front desk for years and years...! And they are more accommodating than anywhere I have been... The rooms have lovely character and the grounds lush and beautiful... There is a little bar there and also a cozy little restaurant with tasty offerings...This hotel does not disappoint..

This place is in a very good location. The grounds are kept very nice and the staff is great! The rooms were apts before so you get a lot for the money. They do need a little TLC. Its all a little funky but its Mexico! Very clean and affordable and right across the street from the ocean. It is...

We stayed three nights at El Moro which turned out to be a lovely oasis at the far end of the Malecon. El Moro looks like a roadside motel from the street, but upon entry you walk into a garden oasis. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. In particular, the front desk staff was extremely helpful in providing directions,...

My husband and I have been coming to La Paz for over 25 years and always stay at El Moro and it feels like our home away from home, as we live in Baja California Sur....about a 4 hour drive north of La Paz. The staff, maids, and all the help are very friendly, helpful and take good care of...

We came here with another family who booked two suites. Our room was supposed to be ready 20-30 min after we arrived but it wasn't ready until 2-3 hours afterwards. We arrived a little early and we didn't really mind waiting because the other room was ready. At first, we were super excited to have a room with a balcony,...

This is a solid hotel in a good location on the malecon. Some rooms are ocean view, some are no view. There is a large percentage of mature folks that stay here so it's nice and quiet. Pros: excellent staff suites with kitchenettes, pool and 2 jacuzzis very good breakfast and lunch restaurant onsite night guard Cons: teeny water heaters...
