Rooms are clean, bathroom clean and a kitchen to share if you want to cook your meals! But there is also very nice and rustic restaurant that serves good breakfasts if you prefer. We were happy to have access to a washer and hang our clothes to dry (there is also a dryer but I preferred to hang the clothes...

Very quiet and comfortable. Small rooms but funky building. Only a 2 block walk to the malecon. One way street easy parking but no off street parking. Very welcoming and comfortable for my dog. Hosts speak English and are very efficient if a little shy. Breakfast not included but there is a little local breakfast/lunch restaurant attached.

I spent one week here and It was Great!! This was truly everything I wanted in LaPaz. It's not a resort class 5 hotel however if you want to save money and stay somewhere nice with a super great staff this place is a hidden treasure. It's located in the best area of LaPaz and two blocks off the beach....

Very laid-back & friendly - loads of folk art touches done by Takako's very talented husband - painted chairs & mosaic tables. Very friendly Japanese, Spanish & English spoken here. An inner courtyard with a goldfish pond, cacti, & blooming flowers in November. Onsite restaurant & food bar with wholesome, delicious food, plus communal kitchen. Very affordable, but clean &...

We stayed in Baja Paradise for three nights during low season. It was a quiet friendly hostal with a lovely host. Spacious room, hot and good shower. Excellent location near malecon. Due to low season the restaurant was closed but there are many good and affordable places to eat! Hope to come back here when we visit La Paz another...

Came here on the recommendation of friends and glad we did. Exactly what we were looking for. T.V., air conditioning, hot showers, refrigerator in our room and a communal kitchen area. Not to mention the wonderful folks that own it and the staff accommodating your every need.

There are not many Options in La Paz if you are looking for a budget stay and good quality. Before we found this little gem, we stayed for almost the same price around the corner and I wish I could turn back the time. Baja Paradise is excellent! Everything is working like it should be in every other Ho(s)tel. Fast...

The Mexican husband and Japanese wife owners of this hotel are very pleasant people who have combined their artistic styles to create a zen folk art ambiance. The interior garden has a fishpond surrounded by desert landscaping. The hand carved chairs and paintings on the walls are done by the husband who has a talent for folk art design. I...

Pension Baja Paradise, nicely-located one block above the Malecon (on Madero between Allende and Juarez) is a family-run hotel unique among the many budget hotels in La Paz. Owners Takako and her artisticaly-talented husband have designed the place with a variety of natural materials and creative touches; From the beautifully-landscaped garden to the great restaurant to the nicely-finished rooms, it...

We were recommended to stay here from a friend. It's 2 blocks from the Malacon and within walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shops. It is also very close to the main bus stop on the Malacon serviced by Aguile. We really enjoyed our stay there. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were spacious and clean and...
