I was travelling to Ensenada by myself (a female) and stayed at the Hotel Mision Santa Isabel for 3 nights. It was a wonderful experience. I had reserved my room in advance for $65 / night. When I arrived, the gentleman said, since you're not staying over a weekend, I'll decrease the rate to $50 / night. The hotel was...

We (a family of 7...5 adults and 2 children) stayed overnight on our way down the Baja to see the Gray Whales. I loved the location and the secure parking at this hotel. The staff were very pleasant and accomodating!! I would stay here again. We did wonder what this place would have been like when it was new..... probably...

We wandered in to check rates for a mid-week stay. A motel up the block, hardly comparable, had quoted $76 and $86. No wonder they were empty....The guy at the front desk of the Hotel Mision Santa Isabel was incredibly welcoming and gave us the rate of $50 per night! The hotel is old-style with beautiful Spanish architecture surrounding a...

Stayed one night at Hotel Mision Santa Isabela in Ensenada - easy to find and easy to park. Steve/Esteban at the front desk is super nice and helpful. Simple, clean, quiet, nice sized rooms with comfortable beds are what you will find here. The bathroom is clean but could use some repainting especially in the shower. Bottled water dispensers are...

The Mision Santa Isabel is within walking distance of everything and just steps away from the start of the main shopping street. Quiet, clean and staffed by helpful front desk personnel (especially Steve and Benito), this very reasonably priced hotel is a bargain. The rooms all front around a central courtyard with a small pool. This is not the US...

I'm very picky and when I visit Ensenada, I love to stay here. It is very safe, very clean, walking distance to EVERYTHING! Parking has security 24/7. Give the security a tip, he will take special care of you --- NOT THAT YOU NEED CARE in Ensenada. It is a very safe place near the ocean. Love it!

I stayed at this place on 4/28/08 for two nights. The place was very quiet and it was very nice. The pool area was clean and relaxing. Actually it was very relaxing even though it is located in the heart of the main area. The front desk was very helpful with directions or recommendations. I would not hesitate to return...

Some of the reviews of the condition of the hotel below might be a little outdated because my stay and obvservation of the hotel is that it was perfectly nice. Arrived into Ensenada for the first time at night. Drove down the way too touristy strip and ugly touristy hotels. At the end of the main strip was the Mision...

We seldom stay on weekends, so it is usually very quiet. Ensenada is never a destination for us, but we look forward to staying there whenever we pass through Ensenada. The hotel is central to the marina district where the shops and restaurants are. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The showers have good water pressure and flow. The parking...
