This small boutique hotel is a small oasis in Selimiye. It has just 6 rooms which are simple but beautifully clean and well run. Breakfast was excellent. The best orange marmalade ever (and we try a lot each year!). The staff are great. But the real winners are the lovely cafe area under shade and surrounded by a charming garden....

Just arrived back from a most wonderful holiday at Losta. The position is truly delightful position. Breakfasts are very authentically Turkish and well presented. The whole team are very helpful especially Orcun who can arrange anything you require including car hire, boat trips and restaurant reservations. We ate out at various restaurants along the waterfront the only one I would not...

We spent a wonderful week in this charming little hotel and are only sorry we haven't discovered it sooner! Its position is perfect, the staff are warm and welcoming, the breakfasts are delicious and rooms bright and comfortable. Selimiye is a delightful village and there is an abundance of good restaurants serving fresh fish and seafood reached by strolling along...

We have now stayed here three years running, something we have never done in our 20+ years holidaying in Turkey. We search out small really Turkish places to stay and avoid large package hotels like the plague. Los Sahil Evi has just the right balance: a quiet position right next to the sea, without the nightmare of being caged in...

The Bozburun peninsula is the lesser of the two Lycian peninsulae trailing from the bottom left corner of Turkey into the Aegean. Selimiye ( 2+ hours from Dalaman) is a fishing village on the north coast of this peninsula, favoured by Turkish 'townies' and some of the more discerning european yachting brethren. Losta Sahil Evi is the last hotel on...

There are too many adjectives to use to describe this place - all positive! Selimiye is a quite village out of season but for those wanting a quite break before the place swells, then the second week in May is perfect. The place is getting ready but luckily for us Losta Sahil Evi was open already. It's lovely. The rooms...

We have just returned from a two week stay at this delightfully small and peaceful boutique hotel. The hotel is situated away from the main part of the village and is therefore quieter - no traffic noise, just the sound of the sea slopping against the small boats moored alongside. The picture postcard view of the bay and mountains is...

For a couple or a family or a single who dreams of a peaceful few days. Clean, relaxed, tasty, excellent panorama..a must stay in Selimiye. Don't miss the 5pm tea and cake. Ask for the front side rooms. Nihat K.

“We had a room on the ground floor with its own outside shaded terrace and comfortable table and chairs. It was decked out tastefully in blue and white. There are also rooms upstairs which probably have a better seaview but we were very happy with our room. Even the air conditioning was quiet.”
