We were delighted with our experience in this hotel and it exceeded our expectations. We stopped here for 1 night only as we were travelling to the next island. 1)The territory of the resort is immaculate full of palm trees and greenery. They also have names of the pants written next to them, which was nice to learn. The view of the cliff by the pool is unbelievable. 2)Staff at this property were all very polite, helpful and welcoming and check in process was very smooth, quick and easy. 3)Cottages are beautiful very spacious and surrounded by plants so they feel very private. There were flip flops and beach bag available in our room which was really convenient. We were also greeted with a personalised message on the bed, which was a very nice touch. 4) Pool was fantastic very clean with plenty of sun beds available and didn’t feel crowded. The only con was the breakfast which was not tasty and lacking variety. However it didn’t affect our stay considering overall value for money we paid. Reception also has recommended to us a great restaurant to eat and we appreciated the recommendation as the food there was delicious. We were very sad that we only stayed for a short time and wished that we booked for longer. Will be recommending this fantastic resort to our friends and family visiting Krabi. …
I didn’t quite expect this resort to be as nice as it was. The reception is quite small but behind those doors there is a beautiful pool with limestone rock in the background and palm trees. The view is breathtaking. The villas are clean, quirky and spacious. The shuttle to the beach was really handy in the evenings for dinner and we would usually catch the last shuttle back to the resort at 9pm. All of the staff were very attentive and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Would recommend this resort to anyone who wants to stay near Ao Nang.
Hands down the best place so far that I’ve stayed in Thailand. For the price you can not pass on this place. Down side is they do not serve alcohol but you can walk 5 min to 711 and bring the drinks to the pool etc etc. the beach may seem far to walk but it’s really not. Nice walk to the beach and if your lazy you can take their free shuttles! All in all must stay place !!!
Pros - -Nice hotel -Good size rooms -Jacuzzi bath -Hammock and lake view room -Shuttle service to the beach/town -Chocolate smoothie was delicious -Collected our luggage from the room and dropped us off a breakfast before check out Cons - -No restaurant of an evening, can only order at pool side - Food was average -Breakfast wasn’t the best
We stayed here for our 4th time and for part of our honeymoon. We love Ban Sanai Resort and could see the changes/updates that had been made. Our Coconut Cottage had a lovely new bathroom. We had previously stayed in the lake view room but prefer the Coconut cottage for its locality and design. It had very comfortable beds. The scenery is fantastic. The staff are all great and willing to help. Breakfast had deteriorated. I asked for fried eggs that came wet and cold and the toaster took a long time. We found breakfast quite basic compared to other hotels. We would still definitely recommend Ban Sanai Resort for a peaceful relaxing holiday. It is a 20 minute walk to Ao nang beach up a slight hill or by using the hotel courtesy bus at certain times.
What an amazing resort. The Ban Sainai is spread over a large area which is all incredibly well maintained, with fantastic views and scenery all around. Swimming in the pool is amazing with the incredible outlook across to the surrounding limestone cliffs and the food at the pool was well prepared and presented. We stayed in a Cliff View cottage which was lovely. Just sitting on the terrace and looking out was awe inspiring. The cottages are quiet, comfortable and well maintained. I guess the only downside was the distance from the pool and reception so be prepared for quite a lot of walking. The breakfast was lovely, looking out across the pond watching the resident fish and monitor lizards. What really sets the Ban Sainai apart is the staff. From reception staff, to the cleaners and gardeners, everyone is so warm and friendly. They all stop what they are doing to give you a smile and a greeting. It seems they all care about the resort and their guests - something we did not experience in many of the hotels we stayed in. I do not have anything negative to say about the resort. A fabulous experience - thank you.…
I stayed at Ban Sanai 5 years ago and I went back so much I had a crush for the place! Everything is still perfect: The rooms on the river have a magnificent view. You can see squirrels, colourful birds, lizards, etc. from the terrace, a pure happiness :) Not to mention the jacuzzi, the infinity pool, the friendliness of the staff and their excellent and varied breakfast. Unlike other hotels in the region, this establishment has a charm that one can only fall in love with. The only downside if I have to mention one is the restaurant which disappointed us a little with the pizza and a small amount of food. Thank you for this superb stay, I recommend it to all.
Amazing services and high quality of food with superb amenities. The staff of this resort is very humble and helpful. A prompt services. Resort is on best location and good environment. Good facilities for all kind of people.
Excellent hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Welcomed by the staff on arrival, unfortunately unable to check in until later in the day. It was a nice touch that a staff member found us by the pool amongst other guests to say our room was ready. When we entered the room we noticed a congratulations note had been left on the bed, along with flowers which were lovely. The grounds of the hotel are peaceful and quiet, surrounded by wildlife and flowers (which are labelled) and the pool is lovely and warm. It is a serene and picturesque hotel with stunning view of the cliffs over the pool Breakfast is served by the lake which is full of wildlife, fish and lizards which looks beautiful. The shuttle service into the town is a god send and much welcomed at times. It costs approx 150-200 baht on a tuktuk however the shuttle is free and was very punctual. We loved our time in Ban Sainai and would definitely recommend to anybody staying in Ao Nang!…
Absolutely loved, loved our stay! Can’t express how tranquil, beautiful and relaxing this place is. Exceeded expectations. Such friendly and hospitable staff. Didn’t even faze me the no alcohol policy - as the views, location more than made up for it.
