I would like to reiterate about the helpfulness of the staff. Yes, they’re not native English speakers, and my partner is Thai so maybe that helped, but the staff went out of their way to help us in too many ways to mention. Cooked to...More

Has a low-rent Overlook hotel vibe, but you get what you pay for. The room was spacious, but there was an all-pervading, weird room freshener smell. Breakfast is basic. Staff + housekeeping were decent enough. But the person at the reception desk was incredibly pushy...More

I didn't hire a scooter but kids I went on a trip with did and they wanted to keep their passport as security and then wanted more money to give it back so be careful. I loved the Emerald pool , the waterfall was closed because someone had an accident. I managed to book 4 Islands for 400 bht but then had to pay another 400 for National park ticket but no one asked to see this so not sure it's worth buying. Always better to ask several agents as they will usually under cut each other. Have a brill time

There is no elevator, so if stairs are a problem for you than you may want to contact them ( or any hotel you are looking into) to ask about ground level accomadations.
It has been our experience that most budget priced hotels do not have lifts.
Also, this hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the beach area so with knee problems you may want to look for a hotel along the main / beach road.
Hope this was helpful.
