The physical space of this hotel is a wonderful tribute to the First Nations culture and tradition, but the deeper sentiments are not present. The service is lacking warmth and a welcoming feeling. It felt more like a museum than a hotel. I had to wait awhile to be greeted at the desk and the desk clerk was none too...

Went here on family vacation. Very close to Valcartier. Staff is amazing. Very friendly and accommodating. Town is very nice. Hotel is nestled away so it is an interesting adventure to find it. We had to leave early due to a snow storm and staff was very accommodating. Rooms were nice and had great character. We did not partake in...

Although it's outside of center city (approx 20/25 mins drive) I enjoyed this hotel for the character and decor. It's not your usual Marriot/Hilton and that was refreshing. The fireplace in the lobby was very cozy, and the decor was fitting of nature and the outdoors. Rooms were clean for the most part. My only complaint was the breakfast buffet....

Just back from a family weekend celebrating my mother in law's birthday. Went to the spa yesterday for a massage, then had a big family dinner at Restaurant La Traite. Staff are amazing, very welcoming and helpful. Facilities were great, rooms comfortable and modern. Decorations and details were so interesting I wished there'd been explanatory plaques! There seemed to be...

Oh what an experience! I had taken both my kids (young adult and teenager) for a "bubble" on the last few days of spring break to this incredible place! I wanted to put our lives on hold and just enjoy each others. We, as a family, always liked to learn about the people around us and this was by far...

We stayed in the summer and took advantage of eating at the fine dining restaurant and the museum tour while we were there. Everything was perfect from the hotel, restaurant, tour and staff. We also travelled into town to visit some of the local shops; everyone was friendly and inviting. I did not realize how much history existed in this...

I recently stayed at this hotel for a work conference. The hotel is owned and managed by First Nations and it is a wonderful, unique place. The First Nations culture is on display which makes the hotel inviting as well as a learning opportunity. The grounds are great for walking and with a lovely river flowing nearby. The rooms are...

My spouse and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at the hotel. Staff and accommodations where excellent. Breakfast on the other hand was disappointing and offered a very low price/quality ratio. Bare in mind this was a Saturday but we hear Friday morning brunches are excellent. A must see with family as well. We will return soon.

We stayed two nights in this hotel and used it as a base to explore Quebec City while en route to the East Coast. We had an amazing stay here and very much enjoyed everything this hotel had to offer. The hotel itself somewhat resembles a large luxury lodge. If you're not a vegetarian and enjoy the rustic this is...
