A cheap hotel in Cameron Highlands. We paid around 10 euros for a double room with a private bathroom! The room was very basic but still nice. There was no breakfast included but it was clean and the location was good. There was no AC but it cools down a lot during the night due to the weather conditions in...

We shopped around the area for ages and this was one of the cheapest - its run down but so was everywhere else. It was very basic and not comfortable, the walls were extremely thin plasterboard. The owner was really useful with regards to information if you want to walk etc. No plug sockets worked in the room which was...

This small guesthouse in the tea plantation village is quite simple, with small room, a garden and the chance to have a freshly made breakfast in the morning.Recommended if you have low needs and are ready to adapt. And be ready for the mosquitoes!!

The room which I got (think it was no. 20) was fine. It was clean and simple, with just a bed, a small table by the bedside and a place to hang your towels. Since it was near the common area, wifi was actually good inside the room itself. I think it's reasonable considering that I was only there to...

My friend and I were traveling throughout Malaysia and read to stay at Twin Pines from Lonely Planet's "Southeast Asia on a Shoestring" travel guide. As a college student backpacking, I don't have high expectations of hostels. When we saw the attic rooms we obviously weren't thrilled, but were okay with it for the price. I am telling you now,...

This place is cheap but clean enough. We looked at other rooms before this one and others were the same quality but almost double the price. Our room smelt like an old man and it was quite an overwhelming smell, especially in the bed. But you do eventually get use to it. Also the fan in the bathroom was so...
