The smokehouse has never ceased to adore me with English decor in the place. Love their home confectionary like their scones, muffins etc. As well as their home made strawberry jam which is commonly found fruit in the highland. Whenever you go up to Cameroon highlands, this is one place you should never miss.

Quaint cottages set amongst Wonderful gardens. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Afternoon tea and scones were delicious, as was our evening meal in front of a roaring fire!! Staff organised tour of tea plantation for us. Although a little outside the town, the setting is ideal and the chalet will organise a shuttle bus for customers.

Ye olde smokehouse is a very quaint hotel with only 25 rooms. It exudes a nostalgic heritage feeling. We stayed at the Halycon 2 suite and it was comfortable. It is a well maintained hotel which was built in 1937. The staff such as George, Laura, Joe, Raj and Sanjeevan were extremely friendly and accomodating to us. We enjoyed the...

Stayed here for 1 night. Overall good experience. Hotel with all basic requirements. Staff super friendly with a smile. Check in was efficient. We stayed at Hill 4 room. Balcony with sofaset where you can have a cup of tea in evening. Warm water was avaiable with a good shower pressure. Lot of foreigner travellers were checking in. Room size...

This place is a pleasant oasis in the overcommercialised Cameron Highlands. Our room was a bit dark but had a small balcony. The grounds were lovely with staff letting us stay in one of the bar rooms having dinner so that our little boy could move without disturbing other guests. The garden is lovely and definitely the highlight, with the...

Came here for a couple of nights retreat. Old English pub like setting which caters to all the old charms of the English country garden and service. Don't expect new and shiny here but bask in the excellent quality of service and charm. Nice touches like turning your bed at night, packed lunch upon checking out and tea served on...

Probably Malaysia's most iconic hotel, up in the cool mountains of Cameron Highlands. We were upgraded to a suite and it was lovely...4-poster bed inclusive. Breakfast was full - love your marmalade! No gardens can match yours - authentic English inside and outside! We will return.

We had one night here to visit the tea plantations. For the area I think this is a good hotel. Our room was in the annex. It was a little tired and the walls were very thin as we had a noisy family next door. The restaurant was good and we also enjoyed an afternoon tea with scones and a...

For all the historic charm and brand name of this place - my parents actually stayed here before 4 decades ago, it was a bit of a disappointment. Otherwise, good overall experience. Service is spotty - there are some attentive people. Food is expensive - for the price of tea with scones, you could almost have a big steamboat dinner...

They even provided us a baby coat since I brought along my 4 months old baby. Friendly staff. There's breakfast, tea and dinner lounge. Do order the scones as it taste delicious. Breakfast was...
