Background for my choosing this hotel: It was very close to a wedding I was attending.

What to love: nice grounds. Simple but nice outdoor breakfasts with good coffee. Across the street from a bakery. Close to running and bike path along the Rhone River.

What to know: The rooms are just ok. Basic hotel room with ok bed. Very small shower with no shelves for anything and not enough room to shave your legs. I ended up shaving my legs in the bathroom sink and then jumping back in the shower to rinse.

Staff friendly but not that warm. Requests that are out of the ordinary, like a late breakfast after a very long night of partying at a wedding were treated as if problematic.

If the location demands it, stay here. Otherwise, maybe drive a little further?

NOTE: I did not have lunch or dinner here. It is supposed to be very good!

Thank Kim M

This is an expensive place to stay with very little on offer. The staff are efficient without being over friendly. the rooms are clean and comfortable with good WiFi. We were not warned that the doors were locked at 10 and nearly got locked out.

Thank John K

“Choose a room facing the back yard but NOT above the kitchen. Rooms on the street or side of hotel, and above the kitchen are noisy!”
