The property is beautiful, and takes you back to a simpler, more peaceful time. Five total rooms ensures you have all the privacy and quiet away from the city, while being right next to the Bandipur forest. The staff is exceptional, and didn't deny a single request we made (and we had many!) - their hospitality made all the difference! Our relax-max weekend included hammock-afternoons, safaris, walking/cycling around the property and its farms, swimming, fresh fruit plucked from the trees and served to us, fresh wholesome food, and a beautiful night sky enjoyed on the grass at night. 10/10 recommend and kudos to the staff for such a great experience!

We have just had a lovely holiday at the beautiful Mangifera. It is a sweet simple place with just five rooms. As a family of four we took one deluxe and one standard room next to each other. The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms spacious. We really missed air conditioning though as the weather suddenly warmed up when we were there.
It is a lovely place for a quiet weekend, when you want to recharge your batteries, eat some delicious food and get pampered.
What transformed the holiday however was the wonderful hospitality of the manager Girish. He was always available with a warm smile and assistance in anything you want- from Maggi for the kids' cravings to menu specialities, from helping us book our jungle safari to making sure the monkeys didn't bother us too much.
This place is a hidden gem with its beauty in its simplicity and warmth. The property is green and lush and has a pool amidst the trees.
The staff were very particular about sanitising and wearing masks which was good.
The upkeep could be a little better but I think that is probably the result of the Covid situation the past few months.
Would highly recommend a family holiday here... And don't miss the Bandipur safari... We saw an amazing variety of birds and animals and the booking office is right around the corner.
Thank you once again Girish :)

This Property is just Outside the Famous Bandipur tiger Reserve.
There are so many Plus points in this Property -
Basically this is a 8 acre Fruit Farm having Few/5 rooms with Garden view,.

My stay here was very pleasant and the hospitality by the Property manager was great and the Staff boys working here very friendly and they are always available for any service we need.

The food we order is been prepared freshly and served to us and it was delicious,.
The complimentary break fast is really good and satisfy any one who stays here.
Property manager also arranges Safari trips in BTR and it is subject to availability of seats

Inside the Property you can walk around the fruit trees and you can also access the swimming pool and the Dining area in the Garden is clean.

Rooms, Swimming pool, Dining area, Garden, all these are maintained cleanly and the guest can enjoy these things which can relax and rejuvenate yourself.

During my stay I was lucky enough to spot an Indian Grey Hornbill

Extraordinary location for people who prefer absolutely noise free and very peaceful place from this sound & polluted today's world. As far as the rooms are concerned there are only 5rooms and all the rooms interiors are superb and very classi, hats off to the landlords wife who has done the interiors so Elegantly. Though there's nothing much to see around except wild life safari and a temple... but 3days just flew like that in that ambience and their hospitality. Specially the GM Mr sanjay's welcome was very warm and he mingles very fast with every client & treats everyone very special. Asfar as food is concerned other than their daily menu they are very flexible in making the food as per ur instructions & homely style. I really liked their hospit 👍. Overall the place is XLNT 👌🏻 once again I thank the lady who has done the place so beautiful and peaceful.

Mangifera is great place for anyone who is looking for a weekend getaway. The sprawling property is well maintained and with just 5 rooms, makes it perfect for anyone seeking peace and tranquility. We were a group of 7 friends, who were very well taken care by Mr. Girish and his team. They are quite accommodative and are quick to respond to any requests. The food is good and all amenities are open for use. If you are an animal lover, you also get company of some cute cats and well behaved dogs, as bonus. All in all good experience and highly recommend the place for anyone looking a quiet & quick staycation.

We really liked being here. Mangifera is a working fruit farm with accommodation of 5 rooms. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and plenty of hot water. There is no WiFi if that is important to you. Girish is a relatively new manager and working on making the place even better. He was very attentive. As it is small, there is no permanent restaurant but he will take orders for lunch and tea and the food is freshly prepared and it was very tasty.
Mangifera is just off the main road to the park and so a safari is easily accessible. The other advantage of this is that the road closes at 9pm and so there is no traffic noise . It was one do the quietest places we stayed.

We were exploring places to stay in Bandipur for a group of 9 friends and happened to come across this boutique homestay with great reviews and decided to stay here. We had the entire farm to ourselves and a great experience. The place is located in a well maintained farm, located close to the Safari park entry and has 5 rooms. It offers a quiet and serene atmosphere with excellent hospitality under the care of the manager Mr Girish. The food was made to our order and taste by Girish. Overall, this is a great place to stay in Bandipur.

Mangifera is a great stopover near the border of Bandipur. The place is lovely, peaceful, and surreal. It is just 10 minutes from the jungle so it makes a great place to go for a morning drive to the jungle.

Rooms are great, very homely feel.

The best part - people. I came in with a flat tyre. Girish and co went out of their way to help me. Changed the tyre, and even took it to the puncture shop. elpful throughout the stay with every tiny detail. And if you have time, do ask for his kittens :)

Prince is yet another gem. Super courteous, and friendly, made our stay memorable. Also makes great food. Breakfast was epic, and though we were more than happy with one or 2 dishes, he made sure he got everything inside the kitchen, and left no stone unturned

Thanks guys for the stay! Strongly recommend this place

Me & my fiancee made this plan absolutely last minute - but this turned out to be one of the best no plan trips ever! The Mangifera is situated right out of the Bandipur forest. It's basically a farmhouse converted to a resort experience. They have only five rooms but the key takeaway is how well the place is maintained by Mr Girish & co. They will leave no stones unturned to make you feel comfortable. The hospitality is truly next level. Will be back soon!

I came across this place when searching for stay in Bandipur. I wanted to go for safari on my way to Ooty. I did a lot of research since I was travelling with my infant baby. Even before booking I called the resort and checked on the facilities and requests made available to accommodate my infant baby. So, Sanjay, the property manager was an instant blessing to be around, I have not come across any manager who takes care of you so well. He was following up with us right from booking to travel on the way until we reached the resort. And after we reached the resort we were pampered and taken care of very well. Chef bala and his wife took care of our infant’s food and were always helpful, thanks to them for leaving nothing to chance. There was not a moment we had to worry about our infant. The hospitality, environment, food and care by the staff was excellent. Any suggestions you need Sanjay is the go to person, he guided us with our next stay and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I will be visiting back again and suggesting friends and family.

Thank you very much Sanjay, chef bala and his wife, Team Mangifera. Cheers!!
