If the room had been half the price, I would have forgiven the low ceilings, ramshackle and comically small furnishings. I would have forgotten that the towel rail fell off the wall and that there was no bath. If this had been good value I probably could have overlooked that we got locked in our room due to cheap locks...

We had a good meal in the restaurant with imaginative food and nice wine. It was well above average for a pub, indeed it is a restaurant with rooms. There is a real attraction to going off to bed after an excellent meal. Our room was number 1 which was downstairs and the first door away from the pub in...

Overall a pretty decent stay. Starting with the plus point so, dinner & breakfast the following morning were both of a high quality. The room I had faced the road but was quiet enough since the B&B is in the middle of no where. My parents had a room with a much better view of the rolling hills. There's a...

I stayed here in July as I was working in the area and this part of the country is not the easiest to find hotel rooms. This B&B is attached to the restaurant that appears to do excellent food. If it is as good as the breakfast then it is very, very good. The room I had was advertised as...

Whilst I cannot fault the staff or the food, my room (Room 1) was a let down. When I first entered it felt like the room hadn't been opened in days as it felt stale and stuffy. As it transpired there is Zero ventilation making it feel quite warm and uncomfortable. I decided to open the only window only to...

We stayed here in June as we came down to Oxford for a night away and to visit the Bicester shopping village. The staff were extremely friendly, the room was nice and clean and cosy and the food was delicious. I would definitely come back and would recommend to friends staying in the area. Thank you for making our stay...

Have always heard good reviews but never made it there until now. It certainly lives up to its good reputation. The food was delicious. We all had something different and no one had any complaints. The restaurant was charming and welcoming. The espresso martinis are amazing. Only downside is that one of us has to drive but that's our problem....

The room itself looked nice, however, the bathroom and bedroom are totally open plan which I suppose is OK if you are on your own, but it also had double aspect windows which means that if you need to use the shower or toilet in the morning before you leave you will need to shut all the blinds (main road...

The food was Overrated and certainly not good value for money. Small portions which left us hungry. The menu is limited. Desserts are overpriced. Surroundings are lovely, but let down by the food. Two of our party thought the ham had a peculiar tang, one was sent back. My steak sandwich would have been more acceptable if in a chiabatta...

From the minute we walked through the door we were greeted and seated and the attention continued throughout the whole of our 3+ hour stay. We were celebrating my birthday and it was a family meal with 4 kids ranging from 8 to 17 years. Children's meals were good value and first class and there was a great "tube of...
