We were down in the area with our large dog who was visiting a specialist vet in the area. Finding a really true dog friendly hotel, especially with such a big dog was difficult. We phoned the Oatridge to see if they would accommodate us - absolutely no problem. She is a VERY big dog - still no problem. We...

Having read a few reviews we thought we'd give this place a try . Menu was pretty good and plenty to choose from. The early bird menu has great choice and also allows you to have steak on this menu with a supplement to pay. Most went for the fillet steaks which were cooked to perfection !! Very reasonable priced...

Excellent room, which was clean and had an en suite. The staff were very friendly, breakfast was really good , but a bit too much for an older person. The hotel is situated in a great spot close to all public transport. It was a pleasure to stay there and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to all...

Nice grounds but wouldn't recommend: - Breakfast was £19.50 each. Price of a central London hotel but the food was poor. I wouldn't pay £5 for the standard of breakfast supplied. - Beds were uncomfortable and room was very hot - Bathroom flooded due to shower not being sealed - Hotel felt out-of-date and lacking personality

The hotel is basic but very clean and welcoming and breakfast was very good. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I would...

Great bar attached to the hotel. Rooms are clean and the full English breakfast is really good. We spent a few hours at the bar with the bar man Gordon. He is really friendly and welcoming. We are biking around Scotland, and this is a good place to start close to the airport.

My wife and I stayed for one night at The Oatridge Hotel on the 9th May this year, bad choice, it smelt of second hand smoke, the metal bed frame in room No8 was dangerous, if you got out of bed in the night you could have broken your toe if caught the end of the metal frame which sticks...

Just back from Brother in Law's birthday meal in the restaurant. Never been before but will be going again, this place is a little gem, lovely decor, food, service & the Special Menu price is fantastic. Nothing too much trouble for the staff, made us feel really welcome, fast efficient service, well done ladies !

“only 15 minutes from Edinburgh airport. Bus stop right outside the front door. Great fish and chip shop next door. (you have to try the food at Aldo's great prices and enormous serving sizes) Only a 15 minute walk to the train station if you follow the nice walking path just off the main street”
