If this hotel were on the mainland it would be terrific, but when you consider the difficulties in getting so many essentials using the ferry, it really is very special indeed. There's nothing "flash" about the hotel, but our room - no. 2 - was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, with two easy chairs to sit and enjoy the lovely...

There is only one hotel on Coll but it is a very good one. There's nothing fancy or pretentious about the hotel but is a very comfortable base for exploring this lovely little island. Our room was a reasonable size with comfy beds and a good sized bathroom. The food was excellent - lovely local sea food simply cooked, in...

This is the only restaurant on Coll and it is always busy because it is very good. Went twice during our stay on Coll. The staff were always very welcoming and efficient. The macaroni cheese with local langoustines was different, but in a good way! Mixture of local pub, hotel and restaurant. High standard all round.

Had a delicious dinner here, good wine list and nice beer. We all had scallops for main course which were large and served in a generous portion - but most important they were cooked to perfection and absolutely fresh. There is a very assured chef in the kitchen, and the manager who looked after us was extremely welcoming and friendly....

The kids fish and chips was to a high standard. Our starters, lovely spicy fishcakes, and mains of monk fish red thai curry and crab...

We had our wedding meal at the Coll Hotel following a service on the beach. The fresh seafood, local meats and tasty vegetarian options were fantastic! The staff were friendly and relaxed and Julie was very approachable and flexible during the arrangements for our wedding meal. Many many thanks to the Coll Hotel for saving us from camping in the...

Only hotel on the island, small and friendly. Lovely setting for peace and quiet. Well placed for walks and wildlife spotting. The hotel can provide good packed lunches on request. All the staff were really helpful. Comfortable beds and simply decorated rooms. We had a very relaxing stay. Food was excellent. I'm not usually a fish eater but everything was...

Came ashore for a much needed shower, had a few pints of nice beer and decided to dine in the restaurant. The food was extremely tasty. If it is a nice sunny evening you can take your drink outside with nice views over the bay. We shall return.

Whilst not modern, this hotel is in good condition and overlooks the bay close to the ferry. The excellent food is served by extremely pleasant staff who provide a warm welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay.
