We stayed in room 2 which has stunning views over Arinagour harbour, and was nice and quiet too. Super comfortable bed and tidy room. The food here is simply amazing! We ate dinner twice, lunch and breakfast too and every meal was delicious. The monkfish was the standout, mussels were great too and other meals around us looked excellent, if...

We were on the island of Coll for a week and had a meal here on our first night. We were so impressed we went back every night to eat. The food is all locally sourced, and their seafood is freshly caught by the local fishing boats. The meat is all from local farms on the island. The food was...

Popped in here after the Coll half marathon for breakfast rolls in the morning. The place was very busy but the staff were very welcoming and very slick at serving all the hungry runners over the course of the time we were there. I'm a bit of a black pudding snob so was delighted to find theirs was amazing!! Didn't...

A group of six of us were on Coll last weekend to complete the annual 10k race and the night before the race we visited the restaurant within the Coll Hotel for a meal. We arrived an hour early for a drink and the pub was extremely busy but welcoming - the locals were extremely friendly and interesting to talk...

Everything about this hotel was excellent..... the service, the food, the wine and the refurbished bedroom. Highlights of our dinner were the crab claws, the seafood soup and lobster thermidor. The homemade bread and butter were great too. The granola , yoghurt and fresh berries at breakfast also deserve a mention. A memorable experience that showcases the best of Scotland.

The Isle of Coll is a delightful place, and so is the hotel. I only stayed one night but was made so welcome. I was met off the ferry and driven up the hotel (no charge). The place was busy, but everyone was friendly and helpful. I spent an hour in the garden, surrounded by wild fuschia, staring across the...

Scotland is blighted by expensive, substandard hotels run by people who think they are doing you a favour letting you pay to stay with them. The Coll Hotel is most definitely not one of them. Every hotelier and guest house owner in Scotland should be brought here to see what is possible and how a good hotels is run. The...

We stayed for 3 nights at the Isle of Coll Hotel and couldn’t have asked for a better base to tour this wonderful small island. The staff are all so friendly and helpful and actually take the time to talk to you rather than being too busy like most other hotels on the mainland. The food is stunning for such...
