The owner (Stela) was unnaturally sweet and ripped us off with a smile on her face. There are no price lists and she asked triple prices for everything: beer, water, food (more than we payed at the Hilton restaurant nearby). No shampoo, toilet paper. In the end, when we argued that the price was too big, she had no explanation,...

Hi, I travelled extensively this summer to Casa Belvedere, being located just 10 min outside Sibiu. I particularly appreciated the kind welcome offered by the guests, the green surroundings, great swimming pool and delicious authentic kitchen. The hosts are really nice people and they go out of their way to do everything to make the guest feel at home. I...

We had two very nice double bedrooms (which we needed with our three children of 3-4-5 years old). Staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a nice swimmingpool, without any time restriction for use. Breakfast is very good. A very nice place to stay. (But the owner seems to be rather profit-oriented, so make sure what you agree to...

If by any chance you end up at Belvedere in Cisnadioara make sure that you don't get fooled by the exaggerated sweetness of the hostess. Make sure you never say yes to anything before you ask her how much she will charge you after. As she will take your last penny for things you wouldnt dream they cost any money....

I had a very unpleasant experience with the owners . They were very kind at first invited us to have some snacks and drinks and didn't mention about prices until the end . The prices for some snacks(sticks) and peanuts where 15 Ron and 10 RON .The prices for beer were higher than at the restaurants . The dinner I...

Since the first day, the host delayed the check in and wasn't transparent regarding the prices of the meals. No accommodation price on their site when we discussed the reservation(higher than the existing one in the present) The total price we were charged with was too high for the services provided and probably differs from one customer to another. The...

If you come from another country or another planet...yes, this is the place to be. Very charming at the first sight but with a very greedy hostess. They don't have a price list with rooms, food and all the facilities and they have the cheek to ask you as much as they like depend on how silly you look.

On a trip to Transylvania to revisit my husband's family's roots the wireless internet and lovely pool were just what were needed to keep two bored teenage boys happy and occupied. Rooms are not huge but they are pretty and well equipped. Stella (speaks German) and Nadina (speaks English) could not do enough to make us welcome, well fed and...

Six of us stayed here for a week while attending a music course. We were amazed at the comfort and facilities. Rooms were spotless and complete with flatscreen tv and ensuites. Off-street parking was available. A comprehensive breakfast buffet was included each morning. The Casa has a swimming pool too! Wooden furniture throughout the house is meticulously hand-painted by the...
