We were staying locally and called early on our first evening as they have a 2 course for £9.99 menu and were very happy with the service and good food served .Parking round the back of the hotel if required we would use again.

+ Sound proof windows (important when next to busy road). Clean rooms and friendly staff. Can recommend. - The room was a small. We couldn't pay by debit card but this was because of an error in the connection; problematic because there's no ATM in Llanymynech.

We were a party of four who arrived rather tired after a walk from Welshpool. We were given a warm greeting by Bob the ex RAF proprietor who showed us to our rooms. The place has a lot of character and is popular with the locals, which is always a good sign. Bob encouraged us to visit the nearby Heritage...

We come here regularly for special occasions as we know the food is always great. There is lots of choice on the menu and everything is home made and you can tell by the quality and taste of the dishes. Have visited numerous times and never been disappointed.

We stopped off here for lunch after a hike to Rodney's Pillar. The decor was excellent--perhaps best described as delightful rural England style--and were immediately helped by the friendly landlord. The menu is extensive, and very reasonably priced. I ordered the "Bradford Blaster" burger, which was excellent--and huge! Highly recommended, and we will definitely be coming back.
