the bulding is charming and filled with interesting nooks and crannies. The dineing room is lovely and the food can not be faulted. The breakfasts are generous. The building is situated right on the old town square, and very convenient to find, and for parking. The people that run the place are welcoming and friendly. The rooms are a little... More

the property is situated in a quiet little town on the outskirts of Dixmuid. it is an old building and ornate both outside and in, the people are very friendly and accomodateing. The room was somewhat basic, however, the food was superb. we chose to celebrate our wedding anniversary in their restaurant and was not disappointed. Its elegant exterior and... More

The title says it all. We had perfect breakfasts, and twice a wondeful dinner, but the rooms are not good at all. The beds are so outdated that you almost end up in the floor. Rooms are not sound proof at all, so you hear everthing from the neighbours. Bathroom very tiny. Sercice and food marvellous. Nice terrace. We will... More

We had a bedroom for 3 persons. The beds were really not nice, the bathroom to small and the decor had not change I guess in 30 years. The lady who was there was really really nice and she served us a perfect breakfast. So Wifi was working good. So what this hotel needs is an facelift inside.

Hospitality and service: impeccable Breakfast: all you can ask for Have dinner there for an honest price and you will enjoy it for sure. Rooms are clean but basic, but remember that you are staying in the old city hall dating from 1566.

My friend and I stayed here recently during a trip to Oostvleteren and the hotel was fantastic! The small markt in the town had a couple cafe's and we were able to rest bicycles from the Tourism office right around the corner for 7.50€ a day. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and the included breakfast was fantastic. We... More
