We had a fantastic time. Mr Imran and his wife are wonderful people. Every bit of our stay was fantastic and were well taken care off. The barbecue they arranged for us was lip smacking at such a less cost. All in all an amazing place to stay!

This was one of the worst places to stay: * Bad Food * Worst Service * No Electricity at night * Dirty rooms and bed sheets * Poor maintenance * Horrible born fire. It was horrible experience to stay in the place where rooms were stinking, washrooms were not cleaned and also the bedsheets were so dirty

Worst resort I have ever seen. Rooms weren't clean it was stinking and manager said it's rainy season so the room is supposed to stink and bedsheets were dirty they didn't even change that. And don't waste your money on food especially.

Property owner Latesh sends amazingly mesmerising pictures of the property the moment you enquire. Photos posted on google are also not genuine. He will ask you to pay up as much as 30% in advance claiming that his property is in demand. You will soon find out that you are the only one staying there because place is so horrible. Resort has one dirty swimming pool. There is no wifi. Rooms are unhygenic and washrooms stink. Resort has NO restaurant. If you stay at this place, and don't have your own vehicle, then you are screwed and bound with these dumb people who do not know basics of customer experience. This stay has ruined my vacation experience in Coorg. I wish I never had taken this vacation. This place is really screwed up. Please do yourself a favor and never book a stay at this place.

It's a horrible place to stay. It's a scam being run under the garb of a resort. Washrooms stink. There are spiders and insects in rooms. Water geysers and ACs don't work. If I say that staff is lethargic, it would be an understatement. You have to follow up with them at least half a dozen times for minor requests. They don't have restaurant. They will order from local restaurants and charge you 100% premium. They also provide their own cabs for sight seeing. ACs in those cabs don't work. Routes / destinations they choose are pathetic at best. Breakfast is complimentary but you will have to wait till noon to get it. If you are planning to chose this as your stay for Coorg, would suggest pl don't. It will be a huge disappointment and it will ruin your vacation experience.

We have checkin in the evening that was make me feel i won't stay in this homestay again. The place is not well maintained, some negative points to note which made our experience an unfortunate one: the air conditioning in the rooms did not work making the rooms stifling hot & stuffy during the night. We were not able to keep the windows open due to the bugs/insects. Geyser and its switch is outside back of the each cottages. So, if you need to use hot water. Swimming pool and Gym, as mentioned in the facilities is under maintenance. But still it is listed out in the amenities. We also had an extremely unpleasant experience during check in, primarily due to the absolute incompetency of the staff: since we had already paid. Stay is really in the remote location, mobile coverage is really bad. It is really bad and bad not fair for the first staying guest, how they treat the guest as. I'm really don't know how the homestay make stay real with guest let us feel warm and friendly.

My wife Ritu and I had planned a tour of South India starting at Tirupati and endi Bangalore. One of the places on our itenary was Coorg. We had booked 3nights /4days stay at Coorg Nest cottages. On arrival we were welcomed by Mr Md Imran. He and his wife took us to their bungalow and gave us a sumptuous breakfast while our rooms were made ready. The cottages were very comfortable and had clean attached bathrooms with fresh linen and towels. The place is situated in Kushalnagar which is about 28kms from the capital city Madikeri. Mr Imran arranged a car for our outings in the course of our stay in Coorg. The evenings were spent near a camp fire organised by Imran and his wife. Yummy snacks and tasty meals were provided during our stay. People wanting quite and peaceful stay will find this place the right one.

What I liked:- 1 - The rooms were big. I mean we could have fit a total of 7 people with individual beds for each in that room. 2 - Room and Bathroom was clean. 3 - Some of the rooms have prebuilt seating area in their veranda. Great to have morning coffee. 4 - They have a separate jogging track, attached to soon-to-be-build swimming pool, which in turn is attached soon-to-be-build restaurant space. Once all done, this would be fantastic place to stay. 5 - There are wooden-decored benches build around the premise to sit and enjoy the morning sun. 6 - They arrange early morning (5 A.M.) camp-fire. We could not join it, as we were lazy. 7 - Mornings there are awesome. Since this is far from city, no noise or pollution. Sunrays reflecting off dew on grass is beautiful site to behold. What I did not like:- 1 - The place is not well maintained. Lawn grass is growing out of shape, so are the tree. Leaves are not cleaned. They have a number people working there, not sure why these things are not taken care of. 2 - Geyser and its switch is outside each house. So, if you need to use water at night, you would have to go out of the room to the back of the cottage - which is dark - and switch on the geyser. 3 - Even after you did the above step, there is no guaranty of it working. Although, they have a central water heater that heats tap water early morning. So, this did not cause us much problem. 4 - As they do not have restaurant yet, you would have inform them of your food preferences during daytime to expect dinner. The owner did tell me, "you have to tell me earlier to expect food", but I did not realize how early. Anyways, he is kind and did infact arrange food from nearby restaurant for me. But, this might be an issue to consider for other travelers. There are no restaurants near this place. Infact, the nearest place might be 4-5 km away. So, if you go there without vehicle, food is a concern. 5 - TV did not work. They tried to fix it, it just did not work. 6 - No mobile reception. This is a major concern, since this is very far from everywhere. 7 - No intercom in rooms, so you can not call for assistance from your room itself. Have to go all the way to the reception to ask anything. Although, the staff there are helpful and nice. So, kind of a mixed package. Go here if you have your own vehicle. Or if you go there after a year or so when they have build all the amenities, you would really enjoy.
