It was wonderful experience for us. Clean and spacious room in a very peaceful locality. Great place to stay, comfortable & clean and has everything you would need for a weekend party. Food was good and service was amazing.
We visited this restaurant and the ambience is very awesome the food quality is good I would not rate it the best but it's not bad either. You can enjoy the food at this restaurant very well with your family.
Good location, exactly opposite to kushalnagar bus stop Hotel rooms, restaurant with good quality food, travel desk and staff is also good. Only bad thing is they also have Bar on the ground floor and not feel safe to go there for dinner.
This place in the first place is hard to locate with confusing sings all over the place, the entrance to this hotel looks like the driveway to some residential apartment. The food there is very pathetic & charges a bomb for the same. There's a marriage hall run by the same owners bang opposite the rooms & one hell of a noise comes blaring into your rooms. There's no complimentary breakfast ( when asked they had a flat answer if booked through OYO you will be getting one ) for the best part there is a tuck shop right opposite the driveway which serves some delicious breakfast. The rooms have a damp smell. There's no hot water after 9am. But the only savior while on a vacation is that it's situated close proximity to the highway to reach coorg etc....
This place reminded me of all the small town hotels we used to stay at as kids on a tour - back in the days when even Bangalore was a small town. The likes of Brindavan on MG Road or Airlines on Museum Road. The access is poor and if they have a function in their hall, parking becomes a huge problem. The corridors appear dingy. The room is small and functional. After a horrid previous night at another location, I was able to sleep well despite the early morning noise from the marriage hall. Must complement the room service which was extraordinarily quick and efficient.
This is an average-sized property with a large parking lot. It's a little hard to find, but take the right fork from the Ganesha Temple (this is I.B. Road) and go 50-100 meters. The place is on your right. The price point (given this is the Coorg area) is reasonable, basically budget-level for this area. This also means: - expect to find an insect or two - expect to find stains and cracks - expect somewhat dingy rooms. - expect fittings to not work 100% of the time. However on the plus side, the rooms were reasonably clean and well-appointed, the WiFi worked okay, and the bedding was comfortable. The service could have been better. Don't expect to get anything you order in time. For food etc, there are reasonably good restaurants a 5 min walk away on the road leading to Madikeri. We could not trust the hotel restaurant as it was always noisy and overcrowded (I believe it is also frequented by outsiders).…
I was staying in this hotel recently for one day only ! Rates are quite high for the services provided. Rooms are very ordinary and the furniture and beds are not up to the mark. Bathroom is also very simple and not kept clean. There is a restaurant available but service is very lax. Nobody bothers about taking orders and one has wait a long time to attract a server's attention. On the morning of second I wanted to start early but an yawning and a half sleepy receptionist took his own time to prepare the bill. He was rummaging in the drawer for change but could not find any. Finally he told me he would settle with me when I visit the hotel next time ! So much for their seriousness. Really not worth staying if you are able find better place!
Bed and room was good.. Bathrooms were poor and stained. Food is OK. No complimentary breakfast or any tea coffee.. Restaurant opens only by 11. Restaurant is more of a open bar resto kind which i didnt like for family to dine in. No wifi in room.. Vast parking space available.
The rooms were comfortable. A few problems here and there, like hair on blanket with no cover underneath, bad food from the restaurant below, that caused us stomach ache the next day. The ambience is also not fit for families, as their were multiple people smoking and drinking downstairs. The facilities were not like a hotel - no toilet paper; nothing except soap in the bathrooms, no wifi provision. It was more like a lodge than a hotel, and they should mention that is my complaint.
This hotel ticked all the boxes for us. We were visiting Bylakuppe and as it was the same time as the Dalai Lama visiting, we were unable to stay in a Monastery in Bylakuppe even though we had the PAP permit. I was a little unsure about the Kannika International but my reservations were immediately pushed aside on arrival with the warm welcome from the Manager. He was welcoming, interested in us and so helpful. The rooms are basic enough but perfectly clean. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel and we ate there both nights. Really excellent food - some of the best food we ate in this area. The Manager then helped us the next day as we needed to access our email and there is no wifi nearby. This is a 2 star hotel but the service is 5 star. It is a good location, if you are visiting Bylakuppe as you can take a rickshaw the 5 km up the road.…
