We stayed at Jungle Camp Backwater resorts for one night. I would like to summarise my whole experience in two words "Fantabulous & Perfect". It will give to Bali vibes. The resort is very beautiful located on the side of Reservoir offering best exotic views with lushgreen well maintained gardens and infinity pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The best thing of Resort is the Live Music with Bonfire. Singer Mr. Mohit Roy was very talented and superb singer. He sung beautiful some old melodies of Kishore Kumar, tribute songs to KK, took us to 90s memory lane with Alka yagnik and Udit Narayan songs. He honoured the demands of audience and even sung Kannada songs on demand. Candle light dinner with bonfire and live singing was absolutely beautiful end of the day. The resort also offers many activities like Indoor games, Bar, Dance floor, cycling etc. One will never get bored for a second. Rooms and resort is very well maintained with all the required amenities. Just loved everything about the resort. I highly recommend it to everyone. …
There was a surprise tour arrangement of coffee plantation. It brought us much closer to nature. Enjoyed interacting with creatures like big worms & beetles! The swing at the resort was aptly installed facing river :-)
We stayed at the suite. The stay was awesome, food was good, however the stay ended on a sour note when Avinash, one of their staff began pushing us to check out at 11am whereas the rules and the conditions specifically mentions it’s a 12 noon check out. He didn’t even listen and I had to raise my voice to make him listen to me. I would never suggest anyone staying here as your whole experience would go bitter at the end.
- I have booked the resort after seeing lake side pictures and to my surprise the lake was not at all accessible. Kindly update this info. My whole trip was planned after seeing these awesome pictures and it's all misleading for me. - No exhaust fan in room - No mini fridge in the room - Jungle Studio rooms were of cheap quality- room had leakage
Didn't like the resort.., the back water is the only view the resort is taking advantage of.., staffs are innocent.., the two boys in the reception behaved rude.., rooms are not that clean and satisfactory.., the rooms shown in the images are the old ones.., so others pl take it as an option
Very serene location, and fantastic view of backwater (some units) Staff was courteous with our request to upgrade the room Food is average. Sorry folks coffee really bad :-) Well maintained garden. Small pool for tots to play. Tots play area also there. Room Wifi can be better. No lifts for higher floor rooms (wasnt a problem for us). Good parking space. Suggest to keep buffet in the open area - the indoor restaurant is quite stuffy.
Excellent view from our balcony- we could see the lake the hill & the jungle & the sunrise. Our Room 201 had the best views. Problem- the Restaurant is quite far fom the main hotel & the staircase is narrow & tortuous. Was difficult for us - senior citizens The trip was planned for us by MMT..The . driver SANTOSH was exceptionally good. Excellent driver. knowledgeable and a very good human being .
Wifi is not at all working other than Reception. Food has to be improved a lot , no variety's and very less option for Non Veg. High Tea is good and snacks at evening time is good. Need to have some plans for outing near by.
The whole staff was really good and cooperative The musical bonfire nights were awesome. Met this amazing singer Mohith Rai who kept us glued to the seats Food was awesome Spa was great 5/5 overall 😍
Not to mention Coorg is a great place, this place is out of all noise of city, deep into forest and next to the beautiful backwater (Hirangi water dam). Sadpart no boating allowed. Resort Staff is nice, food is very average. You must listen to their in House Singer Mohit. Ask him to sing any Arijit and KK numbers. He is too good. MOHIT you ROCK \m/
