Great place to stay, albiet a bit a expensive. 8 island trek and the spa services were great. Restaurant food is also not bad. Great ambience, rooms and surroundings. One thing to note is that the jacuzzi near the pool is a cold water one, which is disappointing and kind of

It was an amazing stay with beautiful cottages. The ambiance inside the property is really good. It is right off the highway, which you will never feel once you are inside the property. They have beautiful activities. And the SPA is also worth. We enjoyed our stay.

Dear Guest, Amanvana is a great place to unwind amidst the lush foliage. The chirping of the birds and the gurgling river flowing by the side of the property makes it idyllic. Thank you for sharing this review with readers. Warm Regards, Anju

The peace, tranquility and silence was something one can rave for. Raw yet modern, simple yet elegant , admits nature yet clean ... that’s how I can describe Amanvana. Place to visit again and again. Walk next to river, Relaxing spa services, roads sitting in pool, entrance to

Yes, January is a very good time to visit Coorg, Weather will be really cool. I had been to Coorg in the month of September (after the floods) and the roads were good to go. Just at some places there was repair work going on which was due to completion in October and hence it should be fine now. Never the less vehicle movement was at ease. We had been till Tala Kaveri and so I don't know how the roads are towards Mangalore. But the road on the other side towards Bangalore was perfectly fine. Also your choice of coming from Mangalore is a better as it is nearer.

Yes you can reach by bus but car is highly recommended as local commute is too expensive. Everyday we paid almost 2000 to 2500 to the cabs we hired for site seeing which certainly wasn’t worth that price.

Rains, rains and rains. It is lovely if you enjoy monsoons. At the resort level, the rains are enjoyable but any higher in altitude the pour will be heavier. Please do note, some activities at the resort were cancelled due to the high level of the river. 8 island trek and BBQ dinner near the river could not be done due to rains.

None. There is a knee level window near the bathtub do ensure that is closed. Overall absolutely safe.
