We had a wonderful little family party for Mum and Dads 50th wedding anniversary. Nothing is too much trouble for this place, the service, food and welcome were all wonderful and made our celebration really special.

Went for a Christmas dinner but was told you had to prebook which wasn't mentioned on the Internet site, very disappointed, the menu didn't explain what the meal included, will not be eating there again.

We had expected a small B&B, however, we were pleasantly surprised at the size and character of the building and of the rooms. Staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. The standard double room we had, had a HUGE bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. The bar was also full of friendly locals enjoying the football, but...

If you are staying in and around Leicester I would urge you to try this small comfortable hotel rather than the chain hotels. A lot more personality and extremely accommodating staff with great quality home cooked food. We booked six rooms across the range from singles to their Jacuzzi suite, all were comfortable with good quality beds. The bar downstairs...

The room was clean and comfortable but a little dated and probably better described as 'with character!'. I ate in the restaurant that...

Stayed here on a last minute break. So good to eat well prepared food that the chef takes pride in. Very good quality. I had sea bass and a tasty sticky toffee pud.Super friendly staff. Could not do enough for us. Felt so welcome.

I needed to find Bed and breakfast accommodation near to Barwell for myself and my girlfriend to stay a couple of nights. We needed it to be near my brother and his fiancee so that we could visit them easily. Also wanted to be near to Mallory Park circuit as we were attending a large race meeting there. The location,...

Attended Kirkby House Hotel for my granddaughter's 17th Birthday party in June. I was so impressed by the Birthday meal, the ambience of the hotel and the staff that I decided to book for Sunday lunch. Needless to say I was not disappointed. Fantastic Sunday lunch and will certainly be booking again. Five stars it certainly is. The hotel would...
