The facade here is amazing. Great for photos. The room was OK...comfortable but not particularly large. The bathroom was tricky. First water pressure was low but staff came quickly to check that out. Then in the morning, I didn't get hot water in the bathroom for a shower. After I was finished, I discovered that the hot tap gives cold water and the cold tap gave steaming hot water in room 302. Staff was very friendly and helpfu and there are many interesting havelis in the area. The lunch buffet was very good, we also enjoyed the breakfast.
We were planning a 3N vacation at an off-beat location. After some research, we decided on Malji Ka Kamra - a haveli built in early 1900's, which was in ruins & was restored around 2013. It is perhaps the only hotel of reasonable standard in Churu. Located around 320 kms/ 6 hour drive rom Delhi, via Hissar. The Haveli has a beautiful facade, that looks great both in daytime as well as when it is lit-up in the evening. A huge well-manicured lawn greets you right at the entrance to the property. Rooms facing the front have large balconies to relax & soak in the view. We took the room with the largest balcony. Staff was quite hospitable and food preparations were good. Not much to do in Churu as such. It is a quaint sleepy town. Mr. Lal Singh Shekhawat is a hotel staff, who himself is a descendant of historical lineage and is entrusted to guide hotel guests on a pretty informative Heritage Walk of around 2 hours. The hotel organized a nice bon-fire evening by the sand-dunes, replete with folk musicians, at a 20 minute drive from the property.…
A well maintained property. It’s very quaint and the rooms are well done up .The food is fantastic and personalised.the staff is very helpful . Lal Singh is a knowledgeable guide who showed me the various Havelis in the area. The only improvement I feel the property needs is hot water in the bathroom.the water is lukewarm at the most , plus a lot of cold water has to be drained before warm water comes . This is sheer wastage of water .
A must visit place. The haveli itself is so beautiful, and such a peaceful place. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They also planned great activities for us, that made out trip even better. The food was delicious. All in all, a great place.
If you are ever in Chiru - or if you are not and you plan a trip - this is the place to stay. Such a pleasant stay - beautiful heritage property and great service and food. The property has a huge lawn space and old historic rooms. The manager is courteous and the staff is friendly. The food was home style and delicious. Highly recommended!
Do not hesitate. This is the place to stay in Churu. Nice heritage property, kind and helpful staff, elegant rooms...not to mention the very interesting historic visit conducted by the knowledgeable guide Mr Lal Singh.
I had a best experience in the property.Been more than 100 years old its hard to maintain an heritage property but all credit goes to the owner and the team of malji ka kamra taking care of guest and the property. I came here with my pajero club and stayed for 3 days and i feel relax as its not easy to turst on any hotel during the covid 19 pandamic..
We visited this place with our pajero group members. It's an excellent property at an off beat location.beautiful village near Delhi. Perfect weekend destination. Thanks to Arvind for arranging dinner at the dunes and off road adventure. The staff is cordial and welcoming. Food was great. Kids had lot of fun running around the garden. We lazed in the garden till 2 am gazing at the stars. Looking fwd for a revisit. The best part was spending the noon on dune top under the tree with friends, appreciating the mother nature and surroundings.
A Beautiful property. Right from sanitization to the Dinner on the Dunes and the OTR was well organised. Staff is very courteous and the food is awesome. Can't thank Mr Balan enough for this amazing experience
One of the finest heritage properties in Rajasthan. Being just a 6 hour drive from Gurgaon, we left early in the morning and reached Churu by afternoon. The feeling of royalty steps in, the moment you reach the property. From the beautiful architecture of the property and benevolent rooms to heritage walk and local safari, everything screams of the rich and royal heritage of Rajasthan. I believe its a must visit for someone who wants explore Rajasthan culture first-hand.
