We stayed here for a week and it was just what we needed and expected. Was it perfect? No, but on an island where lunch cost $30/person and ice is $8/bag, Tingum is a welcomed exception to price gouging. Remember, this is the out islands of the Bahamas. These islands make their own power and water, and neither are very... More

This is a nice and quiet place to stay. But there are few things you need to know before you arrive. There is now drinkable water at this place. The Water in all the rooms is salt water, this includes the shower and sink. You will need to buy bottle water at the gas station two blocks away for $5... More

During a trek through the Eleutheran Islands we spent two nights on Harbour Island. As most people who spent time there can attest to it is a pricey place to stay. We chose the tingum both for character, price and location. It really fits all three requests. The hosts are charming, you have the feel of staying with relatives. The... More

We did not have high expectations as were looking for a comfortable inexpensive place to stay for one or two nights and this hotel met those requirements. The hotel is centrally located and tucked away off the street. The staff was friendly and our duplex was clean and contained the basics. We are early risers but if you like to... More

We stayed at Tingum Village Hotel for one week and couldn't be happier with our decision. The place was clean and comfortable and had all that we needed to make our stay very pleasant. Our second stay at Tingum Village, our first one was perfect and we had to return. Rooms are spacious, bathrooms are nice, and each room as its own unique island décor. The staff that runs the place, let me rephrase that statement, an amazing charismatic family operates this hotel and they will do anything for their guests to feel like... More

We were promised a fridge and stove which are in some of the rooms but they upgraded us which was a nice surprise but it didn't provide the appliances and we love to fish and come back and cook.
