The staff are lovely and I like the building with its 70s architecture and large windows. There are some things that seem illl fitting however. 1. The bar menu is unnecessarily obscure. Unless you want fish and chips you have to go strange - i.e., haggis macaroni cheese -? 2. The only seating in the foyer is paid for massage...

This was one of our stops on our North Coast 500 road trip and it was our favourite! We parked the cars in the very spacious car park and checked in. We booked a Loch View Double and I would highly recommend doing the same. The room wasn't the Ritz but had everything you needed and was clean and comfortable...

First impression of hotel was a bit mixed as there is a gift shop and cafeteria leading off reception and bus loads of visitors were rushing in. We arrived after normal arrival time and was told that room wasn't ready and could we come back in 30 minutes. When we got back we found that we were in an annex...

Clansman is located on Loch Ness and is across the street from the Boat Tours of the loch and Urquhart Castle. Clansman has great view rooms of the Loch and Restaurant that has Great Food. Staff is friendly and helpful along. Great gift shop on site.

Straight off the bat, this hotel knocks it out the park for location, and offers unparalleled views of the Loch from the bar/restaurant. The rooms were comfortable enough although I feel a re-fresh is probably overdue (Bathrooms & TV's should be first on the list) The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, and the lady on reception helped us...

Right in the middle of a vacation where we stayed at 5 star accommodations, we visited Loch Ness and stayed at the Clansman hotel. While not 5 stars, the location is unbeatable-directly overlooking the Loch. We booked the family suite and 2 balcony loch-facing rooms. Although the rooms are tiny, they are well appointed and the family suite had an...

Stayed here for Loch Ness Marathon for 2 nights & paid £260. The setting is beautiful & hotel staff friendly. However no early breakfast offered for marathon runners, was given cereal & milk to store in room for the morning. Not ideal but accepted nothing can be done when kitchen staff don't start until 7.30am & hotel staff attempting to...

Didn't think this was good value for money. It was very busy at the end of summer and staff must be overworked. Cleaning appears to be basic - there were cobwebs throughout the building - I wiped some off the lamps in the hallway and our room needed a good dust - the side tables were dusty. Room furnishings need...

I read many reviews before going here. My biggest concern was the comfort of the beds which was not getting good reviews. The newer reviews were not as negative so we booked based on location. The location is perfect as it is the only hotel on Loch Ness. The boat we took for our cruise is literally across the street....
