I stayed at the 156 hostel for a couple of days on my last trip to costa rica and really enjoyed it. Not only for the price, confort and area.... Hostel 156 is definitely the best choice in San Jose, Costa Rica. It's location is superb, it's close to everything of interest from Downtown, Restaraunts, Malls, Museums and City to the amazing National Parks, Forests and Volcanoes. I really enjoyed my stay at 156.The staff were super curtious,more than helpfull to any questiions or inquiries that I had.The short walk to the historic part of town was also very nice,quiet and off the beaten track.I would stay their again for sure.
