I stayed in suite 2 upstairs for 3 weeks in Jan/Feb 2017 and was utterly delighted with the room and wonderful terrace overlooking the harbour. The cafe under the almond tree is a great place to meet people and chat and the resto upstairs is excellent with the best pina coladas. However the good kitchen was not equipped well -...

I stayed here for a week with my wife and 2 children aged 11 and 13. We had a guest Chalet over 2 levels. Both had lots of room and stunning views from their balconies, overlooking the sea and harbour. I loved the traditional Architecture, high celings, dark woods and excellent natural ventilation that kept the interiors cool and very...

We booked two rooms in January and the stay was perfect. The large rooms and the views made the stay so nice. Waking up to views over the harbour make this the place to stay. The balconies are very spacious as is the room themselves. The rooms were cleaned every day. The location is perfect to with all the restaurants...

Stayed here for 2 nights inbetween sailing and flying home. It's perfectly located right on the waterfront of Port Elizabeth and within 100m of all sorts of very good eating options, and 500m from beaches. We had an upper floor room, with a great view over Admiralty Bay. Room was large with a canopied bed, and a full kitchen for...

Delightful family run hotel. Clean, comfortable, affordable and welcoming. Instantly you feel right at home and there is always a range of interesting passers by to share time with under the Almond Tree by the Cafe. There is a great local fisherman who cooks fresh lobster and sells it for almost nothing, just divine. Bequia Dive is right next door...

Sit on your verandah or porch to enjoy the comings and goings in the harbour (lots of sailboats), hummingbirds mining the flowers, the passersby on Belmont Walkway. The ground floor room I stayed in was quite spacious with full kitchen and large bathroom. A few steps away is an excellent cafe for breakfast or lunch; or step down onto the...

My husband and I stayed in Room 2 (upper floor) for 11 nights at the end of November. We chose Gingerbread because of its location close to Port Elizabeth, the dive shops and restaurants. We were so pleased with our choice - our room was full of character, spacious and with a wonderful verandah with comfy chairs overlooking the bay....

Gingerbread is a great base for a holiday in Bequia. The staff are helpful with any queries you might have, and the cafe is very sociable with a good choice of breakfast items (and good coffee!). My room was really big and decorated with Caribbean touches. The bed was comfy and it had everything I needed for my stay. The...

The room was very large, king and queen bed with a full kitchen. It was clean and comfortable. There was no air conditioning but they had extra fans and it was comfortable even in August. The staff was very friendly and WIFI was strong and fast. It is walking distance from the ferry pier and there are two or three...
