We cannot rate this resort highly enough, from stepping off the sea plane, getting back on again, everything was perfect. We stayed in the Sangu overwater villa's and they had everything that you could ask for. We mainly ate in the Sangu restuarant, mainly due to Anima, our waitress for the week, she was an absolute credit to the resort. The food in here was varied and tasteful. Special mention also to Mohamid, our cleaner for the week, who explained more than our island host, who wemet on arrival and never saw again, I think his name was Rian, his introduction was hurried and not really helpfull. Shoes are optional as all walkways are sandy, as are the restuarants and bars, heels for the ladies would be a no go. The sandbank is beautiful and the water is warm. Lots to do from kyaking, snorkling, jet ski's, golf and is popular with divers, the fish are colourful and come close to shore, we could sit on our balcony at night and watch them. The sunset cruise is woth doing, it's free for all inclusive guests, not sure for others, we saw huge pods of dolphins. Use a good high factor suncream, I used factor 30 and still burned my shoulders. Golf buggies act as taxi's to get you back and forward between bars etc. I asked my wife to describe Kuredu in one word, she could'nt as she said there were so many that she could use. It is worth booking the airport lounge at Male airport on the way home, $47 got you comfy seats, a shower to freshen up, endless tea, coffee and soft drinks, a 3 course meal was also included, good value for money. Would I return to Kuredu? yes in a heartbeat, it was the most relaxing holiday ever, with the friendliest people.…
Our trip to Kuredu was beyond amazing. We stayed 8 nights and would recommend anyone coming in to stay nothing less. There's tons of things to do on the island and you'll run out of time pretty quick. A lot of people have written so many great things about Kuredu and the place lives up to all the hype. It's a great place to come to, whether you're on a honeymoon, a family vacation or just want to spend some me time by yourself. There's something for everyone. We were given the jacuzzi beach villa and it was just great. The rooms are lovely and even with two extra beds for the kids (7, 11), we didn't feel cramped at all. Every little detail is taken care of Kuredu and I really commend the management and staff for keeping it a destination that you'll remember fondly for a lifetime. …
Paradise. From start to finish it was amazing. Staff cannot do enough for you.Stayed at the O resort which was fabulous! If you’re offered the sunset cruise, take it, we saw so many dolphins all swimming along with the boat, awesome 😁
Me and my wife always dreamt of going to the Maldives and it definitely lived up to our high expectations, it was literally paradise to stay at Kuredu Island Resort. Right when we arrived at the start we was greeted with drums which after a long travel was a pleasure to see. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the staff were exceptional, I definitely recommend the beach villa if you just want to wake up to the sounds of the waves coming in and want a 20 yard walk to the water. If you want a nice relaxing stay in the Maldives then this is definitely the Island for you! The only downside to the holiday was getting bitten during the night, the beds do have a mosquito net but didn’t help nor did the bug repellent but I’d get bitten again just to stay on that Island!
Lovely island beautiful location..our room 416 needs updating.not allowed in some swimming pools and restaurants poor evening entertainment.beach outside room 416 not suitable for swimming due to constant debris
Everything is okay on Kerudu. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is good and varied. Cabins are comfortable and clean. There are many things to do, but most of all it is a divers paradise! Prodivers is very professional and takes care of experienced and not experienced divers.
Excellent holiday, nice clean resort with welcoming staff, good food with varied menu. Beach villa large and spacious overlooking sandy beach and turquoise sea, ideal for snorkelling and swimming. Kuredu is a large island with plenty of amenities that does not feel over crowded.
Just returned from kuredu, what a beautiful place. This was suppose to be our 40th anniversary and my wife's 60th birthday, but thanks to covid it was cancelled 2 years ago,we got there in the end. After a train ride and 3 different flights we was ready for a relaxing holiday and that's exactly what we got. After check in we was taken to our beach villa, number 294 at the O resort in a buggy, these are always on hand to take you all around the island. Our villa was perfect, everything we needed.a well kept fridge with beer,wine,coke,Fanta,7 up etc etc, also snacks.we was all inclusive plus so all was complimentary except the spirits.we had our own sunbeds and the sea was appr 25yds from our veranda. Our designated restaurant was O restaurant, the food was excellent and the service impeccable.raja or manisha were always there to greet us and take us to a table.rajan looked after us most visits,a very friendly and helpful waiter always smiling and happy.all the other waiters and waitresses were brilliant too.maruti was a brilliant chef and stood at the counter to do the specials, backed up by a couple of others who were very good chefs too. We could stay round this restaurant and bar and pool all day but chose to go to the main area for the snorkeling which was great, turtles, sharks, various rays and plenty of fish. We tried all the restaurants on the island except the ones we had to pay for.these were all excellent.the several bars were good too. Entertainment was OK.mostly white, retro or beach parties or just disco. There was plenty to do,kayaks, windsurfing, paddle boards some free on AI package, some to pay for. There was a free sunset cruise and we saw hundreds of dolphins just a short ride from the jetty. Our cleaning lad was very chatty and friendly and kept us well stocked in the mini bar.sandal was his name ,thanks sandal. All the staff on the island were brilliant, very friendly, always spoke and smiled all the time.the owners should be very proud of them. This was our first holiday to the maldive, although it's not the cheapest of holidays.we thought it was well worth what we paid.we will be returning again as soon as we can.…
Just returned yesterday from 10 night stay on this beautiful island and what a great time we had you can do as much or as little as you want on this island it’s up to you there’s so much choices of things to do one thing we did was dinner at 5.8 restaurant which is expensive but we’ll worth the experience one we will never forget
From boarding the seaplane into Kuredu to the moment we left, it was total bliss! Incredibly relaxing, wanted for nothing! All the staff were superb and Lester made sure our anniversary was recognised by all the Sangu staff. We had a fantastic time and WILL be back soon!
