My wife (Talitha) and I visited Kuredu from 13 to 24 April 2021 for our honeymoon. We had the most amazing time and were looked after by amazing staff. This is truly the ultimate island destination for a family or for a couple wishing to relax. The resort has a number of restaurants and pool areas. Children are not allowed at the Sangu Restaurant and Pool area, so this would compliment a couple wishing to relax on the island. Children are welcome at the other pool areas, so the island accommodates families with young children as well. The resort has a number of room styles to choose from - ranging from water villas and private jacuzzi beach villas to garden bungalows. The various room types make it possible for anybody to visit the resort, irregardless of your budget. The snorkeling was fantastic. Only a few meters into the water, you will find a large number of sea turtles grazing on the sea grass. We went of the full-day sailing trip and would certainly recommend this to anyone visiting the resort. The friendly crew takes you to some of the best snorkeling spots in the area and a delicious lunch is served on the boat. The food was divine. For breakfast, lunch and dinner the resort offers buffets (at the various restaurants) with an array of tasty food to choose from. The island has a clinic at which they take your COVID PCR test swabs. The swabs are then sent to a testing facility and you receive your results within 24 hours - making it easy for you to travel back home. Special thanks to Charles, our island host. He truly went out of his way to ensure that our honeymoon was one to remember. Thank you to the other staff for your notable friendliness and passion with which you execute your duties. We had an unforgettable stay and will certainly be back!

I’m writing this review about my wedding anniversary trip to Kuredu. We’ve met there a couple with their 28th visit but for us it was only second time :) So all in one you have plenty of activities such as snorkelling on a home reef where you can meet turtles, stingrays and sharks(maybe this time a little bit less of them than previous time), tours on other islands e.g to visit 5.8 undersea restaurant, free of charge dolphin trip, very good restaurant and bars (we stayed in Sanghu area), SPA. I know that there are other activities included like free diving lesson or golf, etc but we didn’t have time to try them. Especially would like to mention overall good level of service on the island and say thanks to Polina from main reception and Rahman from Sanghu restaurant.

Kuredu is a beautiful massive island rich in its flora and fauna. Each side of the island had its own charm and diversity in terms of the colour of the water and the feel of the sand and the sea life. Once you are on the island you don’t need to mask up unless you are in the massage centre or buffet restaurant. And yes it’s a barefoot island, you don’t need your sandals or shoes. We (family of 2 adults plus one 6 year old kid) stayed for 7 nights in a beach bungalow - room number 411. We had a comfortable room with outdoor bathroom. Our room did not directly overlook the beach - there were some beautiful trees in between which was a bit of a bummer. So if you wish to stay in beach bungalow with direct beach view, suggest the rooms close to 440. It’s a great resort for family because there is plenty of entertainment for kids of all ages. Our daughter was very happy with the pool, and beach and all the activities at the kids club. Lots of arts and crafts like coconut painting, pirate art, jewellery making, popcicle art and yes three movie nights. She easily spend 3 hours daily with Ms Nora who is lovely and warm at the kids club. It clean and well maintained. We aren’t adventure junkies so didn’t do much snorkelling adventures but with prodivers team in there with extremely helpful staff like Emily, Grace and Isabella it’s a great place for those looking for snorkelling adventures. It all comes with a cost though. They offer a free introduction for 45 min on which parts of Island to go and which to stay away if going on your own and how to use equipment. All equipments also available on rent. We were on full board, and the food selection was good at Bon this restaurant for all three meals catering to needs of all the nationalities. There was no wow factor but it satisfied our tastebuds. We always enjoyed the food produced by live stations daily with Mohan and Purna. Also looked forward to the themed dinners like Maldivian night, Mediterranean, Asian etc. Try having a drink or coffee at Sai kothari in the evening around sunset - beautiful view with the probability of seeing some sharks and baby dolphins. Overall the staff has been very courteous and warm and friendly. Special mention to Vijesh from housekeeping and Bibin who helped us settle in and made our stay enjoyable.

Hi, We went to Kuredu as a family of 4 and all of us had fun. The snorkeling spot is amazing. Kids club is good but don't expect your kids to stay the full day. Pool and pool bar is amazing. Food is good. Room is really nice. Seaplane transfer is affordable and airport lounge is amazing. Perfect destination for a family.

The perfect honeymoon destination. Worthwhile to be on the All Inclusive package (more value for money). Be sure to check compatibility of appliances and their plugs or take adaptors as the shops there, did not have any during our stay. Note, Use US dollars only as Maldivian Rufiyaa is not excepted from tourists.
