For the Superbowl weekend my spouse and I planned a trip to Orcas Landing Hotel. It was originally a gift to us but we paid for an upgrade for our room we reserved the Blue Heron. The website advertised private bath, jacuzzi tub, private balcony etc., Room value $218. When we arrived to the Anacortes ferry terminal they informed us...

The Orcas Hotel is a small, historic hotel of more than 110 years of service. Most of our guests choose our hotel for the quaint, small historic hotel environment that we enjoy with the majority of our guests. The hotel stay was a gift to these guests, they most likely did not receive our email confirmation letter that advises our...

My Son and I frequent the San Juans due to his love of the Washington State Ferries, and all things Island. We love the Orcas Hotel for it's style and location convenient to the ferry landing. It also has incredible views of the ferries. The owner and staff are very friendly and informed us of the highpoints of the island....

We have stayed at the Orcas Hotel twice now, once in Jan. and recently in November 2014. We come off season to avoid the crowds that undoubtedly come to this quiet, serene island in the San Juans. Both times we found room 15 (Killebrew Lake) to be comfortable and the view beautiful. You look out the French doors over the...

It is beautiful to see the view from this hotel...but, the rooms are just ok. The bathroom was down the hall and the shower was in a different room. It was mediocre, but, there wasn't much choice and it was convenient to the ferry -- you MUST leave many hours to wait in line for the ferry or you will...

Booked Orcas through a Groupon for a two night stay with a friend. Ferries to the island had great scenery so it was no surprise that the view from our room was stunning. Hotel itself is quaint and dated. Room was an okay size with a great size balcony. I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. The...

After Friday Harbor took the ferry to Orcas and walked over to the Orcas hotel, from the outside I thought wow very nice and quaint fits the surrounding perfectly. Upon stepping on step in side the tiny lobby the staff were not very interested in service and our rooms were not ready. Never mind went to the cafe that is...

The pros: quaint hotel, good location, friendly owner and staff. The cons: thin walls so you hear everything that is going on, including the ferry traffic. The first ferry leaves at 6:45 am and the last one at 10ish pm Restaurant has limited choices for breakfast, the ones that we tried were not good, we also ate dinner at their...

Staying at a hotel which is greater than 100 years old is always fun and a little quirky, which we enjoy. Next to the Orcas harbor, the view was beautiful, punctuated by being able to watch the ferries arrive and leave. Our room was clean, cute, with lots of character along with a balcony overlooking the harbor which would have...

Our family had the entire hotel booked for my niece's wedding. It was wonderful. Nice rooms, lovely setting for the wedding, good food, and fabulous staff. Yes, it is an old hotel but we did not have any issues with that. The room was clean and very comfortable. We always use a white noise app on my phone when we...

We arrived on Orcas prepared to camp at Moran, but realized that we'd left the key to our cargo bin at home. D'oh! We were desperate for lodging, and after calling several places with no vacancy (or plenty of vacancy for my husband and me, but not our 2 4-year-olds), we landed on Orcas Inn that had 1 room left....
