We passed by coming from Inverness, Scotland. What impressed us the most was the kind and dedicated service we received from everyone, from checking in to fixing the heater or arranging the table for a family with children. Well cooked simple dishes, good beer and...More

This B&B is set in a beautiful building. On arrival we were welcomed by an extremely friendly member of staff called Scott. Check in was easy and the room itself was large & spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable. Bathroom was also large with a...More

Whatever this place lacks is more than made up by excellent service, friendly hospitality and a great breakfast. Couldn't fault the housekeeping or the welcome. The noisy floors add to the atmosphere of what after all is an old castle

Stayed for one night with my husband, staff friendly, food very good, castle very clean. One down side no heater in bathroom, but it was a castle, so can't expect it to be all heated. We would visit again

This made me laugh. We didn't meet the owners when we were there. The two young guys who were there were great and very friendly. Enjoy your stay

I saw a couple of children when I stayed. They looked happy and content at breakfast and dinner. Lots of stairs to climb up to bedrooms but apart from that I would be happy to take my 3 year old grandson to stay there. Hope... More

Hi there, I will be fair minded here as I am from the area in question. I think a lot of the service and attention depends on your own previous experience. When i was at the hotel last year, I was on a driving tour of... More
