This part of my NC500 trip brought deer and wildlife. A beautiful spot to experience the natural sky, be sure to look outside during the true darkness. It is a popular venue for locals so plenty of people to mingle with as well as visitors, however noise was not a problem once retired to your room. Rooms felt basic compared... More

Fantastic location, right at the head of Loch Inchard, the four of us, motorcyclists, having been on the North Coast 500 circuit, stayed here for the night. Very polite owners, acceptable food and a well stocked bar, what more could you want?.... would stay again without doubt!....

The hotel over looks Loch Inchard. Its a beautiful sight. Our room was excellent, with views over the loch. The bathroom was massive and light and airy. However the food was basic, and with no other restaurant nearby was a bit disappointing. This was a pity as the restaurant was on the first floor and had great views.

Bit of a tired looking hotel but views of the loch are superb. Conveniently located on NC 500 but with a bit of TLC it could be really good. As we entered the underwhelming front door a voice rang out "can I help you" in Fawlty Towers style! It belonged to a young Romanian man who checked us in and... More

My wife and I stayed here last night. After reading some of the recent reviews, which we did the day before we stayed, we were not looking forward to it. As it turned out we thought the hotel was great. We arrived wet and bedraggled from being out in a rainstorm with an equally bedraggled dog. The owner's husband, who... More

This hotel is located in a good location. It has also got great views. Me and my friend where on the way round NC500 and this was the only reasonably priced hotel left. I read some of the reviews on TA beforehand, which are quite accurate. The room itself was good. Clean and tidy, with a good en-suite. I had... More

This hotel has a nice location at the head of the loch, but that is its only merit. The young man who met us as we arrived was extremely curt, to the point of rudeness. He also served us breakfast, but needs a lesson in manners & hospitality. He presented himself at the table in the morning. No "Good morning"... More

This hotel is in need of a desperate makeover...actually it looks like it is in the middle of a renovation but I'm pretty sure it's been like that for a while with polyfilla in the walls. Check in was quick but they young guy (eastern european seasonal worker) who was working there looked like he was on holidays- wearing bright... More

My wife and I Stayed in this hotel on route doing the NC500 on the motorbike, the staff was extremely unpleasant and quite frankly abit strange! The rooms were nice enough and the food ok. Would not stay there again.

Stopped for lunch but in the absence of signage found the hotel apparently closed . Then encountered a very angry and hostile proprietor. In subsequent conversations with locals we were assured that this was not an untypical customer encounter and the hotel is known locally as the Fawlty Towers of the North. Very unfortunate attitude given the Hotels strategic location... More
